The menu is especially known among reviewers for dim sum made after you order, rather than pushed around on carts. Popular dishes mentioned by customers include salt and pepper fish fillet, salt and pepper chicken wings, black bean spare ribs dim sum, stir-fry noodles, Mongolian Beef, Beef Chow Fun, seafood congee, wonton soup, and house special braised beef. The salt and pepper fish fillet is described as a larger fillet-style preparation rather than bite-size pieces, while the stir-fry noodles stand out as a favorite part of the meal. Reviews suggest that portions and meat amounts may vary by dish or visit, and some guests have noted comfort concerns such as dining-room temperature. For the best experience, choose the dishes the restaurant is repeatedly praised for, ask questions if you have expectations about preparation, and allow time for freshly prepared dim sum.

Sign in to reviewI had ordered the same menus (Mongolian Beef and Beef Chow Fun) twice last month. With the first order, both menus had a plenty of beef in the foods with a good portion. However, with the second order, it was obviously figured out that the amount of beef in the foods were significantly less. My wife joked me it might be depending on the day of week we place an order. Anyways, I am sure I won't order from BK Bistro anymore.
The house special braised beef is overpriced. It’s made with tomato and some kind of soy paste, which is not what I expected. The portion is small compared to the other dishes. We love the stir fry noodles. It’s the best part of this meal. Our biggest complaint is that they didn’t turn AC on in the warm afternoon. It was too hot and we were sweating while we ate.
I normally don’t leave complaints or negative reviews, but this experience was serious enough that I felt I had to share. I ordered seafood congee and wonton soup for takeout, and when I opened them at home, I found a hair in the congee and what appeared to be insects floating in the wonton soup. This was extremely upsetting and raised serious concerns about food safety. I couldn’t eat any of it. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and improves their hygiene standards.
One of our go to places for dim sum. There aren’t any carts going around as the dim sum isn’t cooked until you place your order with the server. You do have to wait at least a few minutes for your dishes to arrive so don’t come here if you’re starving. When the dim sum does arrive, you can taste the freshness!
ordered salt and pepper fish fillet, salt n pepper chicken wings, and black bean spare ribs dimsum. all of them taste good. just want to let everyone know that the salt and peppet fish fillet on this restaurant is a big fillet, not a bite size fried fish fillet.
