I recently tried B2J Fish House and came away seriously impressed. The signature sauerkraut fish soup is the star of the show. The broth is bright, tangy, and deeply savory without being overwhelming. The fish is tender and fresh, and the balance between the sourness of the pickled greens and the subtle heat from the chilies is spot on. It’s the kind of dish that keeps you going back for “just one more spoonful.” The crispy pork belly was another highlight, perfectly fried with a golden, crackly exterior and juicy, flavorful meat inside. Paired with the seasoning dip, it hits that addictive salty-crispy combo that’s hard to beat. The spicy chicken with chili sauce brought a nice punch of heat and fragrance. The chicken was tender, and the sauce had great depth with garlic, chili, and a slight nuttiness that made it feel well-rounded rather than just spicy for the sake of it. Overall, the meal felt thoughtfully prepared with strong flavors and good texture across the board. Portions were generous, making it great for sharing. If you like bold, comforting Chinese dishes, especially anything sour-spicy, this place is definitely worth a visit.

First time trying sauerkraut fish soup and I’m impressed! The broth is tangy, savory, and really unique and definitely something different in a good way. The fish was fresh and tender, and the portion size for the combo was perfect for one person. Came with rice and a crispy side that added a nice texture contrast. Also got free Thai tea, which was a great bonus and paired well with the meal. Good value, clean spot, and everything tasted fresh. Definitely worth trying if you’re in Plano. I’ll be back!

Really good! Service was amazing, place was clean and nicely decorated, and the food was delicious. We came because of multiple recommendations from my sister’s friends. They gave us complementary Thai milk teas and milk mochi. Would highly recommend the signature fish and beef dish (I preferred the fish over the beef but my sister really liked both), and I would also highly recommend the chicken side dish. Good if you’re craving something sour and spicy. Plus the portions were huge! We got the small pot combo and it fed the 3 of us well (probably could feed a fourth person too). Hope to visit again!

I tried the milk mochi here and it was absolutely delicious. The texture was perfectly soft, chewy, and slightly stretchy without being too sticky. The milk flavor was rich and creamy, but not overly sweet, which made it really easy to enjoy more than one piece. Everything tasted fresh, and you can tell they put care into making it. It’s a simple dessert, but done really well. I would definitely come back just for this!

It’s an amazing place especially on a cold day. The warm soup melts your heart. It has the best combination of fermented cabbage, generous fish, and a choice of add-ons that you must try. Pork belly was the perfect appetizer. Will be back for sure.
