Coffee is the main attraction, and reviewers mention both hot and cold choices. One guest who usually drinks coffee black says they appreciate the flavor of Hawaiian beans and grounds, especially Kona, and found a coffee they want to return to. Others describe the coffee as smooth, with an iced latte that avoids a bitter aftertaste. A detail that stands out in one review is coffee ice in the iced drinks, which helps keep the flavor from becoming watered down as the ice melts. For a sweeter option, a customer recommends the Hazelnut Hula Latte served cold, describing a rich combination of hazelnut and dark chocolate. These guest experiences make the menu appealing to people who enjoy straightforward coffee as well as those looking for a more indulgent, flavored drink.
The pastry case adds another reason to pause. A reviewer calls out a warmed cinnamon malasada, describing it as tasty and a tempting match for the Hawaiian-style coffee-shop setting. The same guest noticed tropical flowers around the display, contributing to a fun, inviting atmosphere. The available reviews portray a place where a quick coffee run can turn into a small treat, whether you choose an iced coffee, a latte, or a pastry alongside your drink. Customers also praise staff for being quick, friendly, and positive. One regular visits two or three times a week and says the team gets their usual drink right, while another describes the employees’ outgoing attitude as a welcome start to the day. Individual experiences vary, but that warm service is a recurring theme in the feedback.

I have always preferred my coffee black, but it needs to have flavor on its own. I love coffee beans and grounds from Hawaii, especially from Kona. Once I found this place, I am not going anywhere else. The people who work there always display a positive and outgoing attitude that makes your day that much better.
We were hesitant to come here bc of the lower ratings compared to other places, but I’m so glad we gave it a chance. Amazing coffee! The iced latte is the perfect color (iykyk). The coffee is smooth and has no bitter aftertaste. Plus, their ice cubes are made from coffee! So no nasty watered down coffee when it inevitably melts in the Phoenix sun. We will definitely be back!
Andy and Vanessa are the most amazing coffee creators everrrrr. I come here 2-3 times a week and they perfect my drink every time. Overall, all staff I have interacted with are quick and friendly. Thank you for making the start of my work day a lot better.
Fun name, fun atmosphere, delicious coffee, and a surprisingly warmed and tasty cinnamon malasada pastry! I only came in for the iced coffee but how could I resist the Hawaiian style donut nestled in the display case among tropical flowers? It looked just too appealing and when the eager to please server told me they warm it up, I shouted "Sold!" and was so pleased. It was so light and tasty with a much more flavorful cinnamon than you're probably used to. It's a pleasant spot to people watch from the windows, so linger a bit (some seating outside too) and read the fun history of the donkeys of Kona, maybe pick up some fun merch, but take time to savor the coffee. Seriously, there is such a difference in their coffee: so clean and able to hold its own with the flavoring. I went full on island with the Three Waves iced latte: caramel, macadamia nut, and coconut and it was a perfect blend deserving of a slow sipping to detect each of the nuances of flavor. I wish if you're sipping on-site that you could have a non plastic reusable option though--there's enough plastic in the world and in the spirit of the island a switch overall to paper would be a real step up.
I had the Hazelnut Hula Latte served cold and it was AMAZING!! This was the perfect sweet treat for the summer because the dark chocolate combined with the hazelnut nut flavor makes this drink rich & delicious!
