I am only in Seattle for 1 day and I needed something healthish to eat for breakfast. This place was the bomb. I ordered the Breakfast sandwich with the ham and also the seedy brown bread nut butter toast, And man whatever they put on the sandwich (I think it's the pickled daikon and the hot mayo.) Very good. Not too pricey either. The young lady who helped me at the register was very friendly and accommodating. I didn't know what to order and she was very helpful and patient with me. Most places, they give you an attitude for not knowing or taking too long.
Lovely little cafe tucked away in a relatively quiet street. I ordered the black sesame salted caramel latte (with salted whipped cream), cardomom knot, and breakfast sandwich. All were so good! Especially the latte. Would come back just for that. Lots of seating both outdoors and indoors, with a water bowl outside for the pups. I came on a Thursday morning and there was plenty of seating, but can’t speak to how busy it might be on a weekend.
Incredible service, atmosphere is beautiful and airy, amazing matcha, and the best breakfast sandwich I think I’ve ever had (no photos as it was hounded within minutes)
I just moved here from Georgia and it’s been my go to now. Harriet, if you’re reading this, you’re amazing! And everyone that works there. The cinnamon roll is such a good bite to have; unexpectedly the lemon cream …
I've been here a few times, and wanted to try a couple things before I reviewed, but I'm not fully sold on this place. For such a high price point, I would expect the food to be at the same level. I can appreciate the attempt to reinvent the breakfast sandwich wheel, but their chosen combo of pickled daikon with an almost frittata-like egg square including leeks (or artichoke?) and hot mayo was just a bit too much going on--not to mention a bit difficult to eat. Their lemon poppy seed loaf is nice and chock full of poppy seeds, and I've also tried their espresso chocolate chip cookie, which was delicious, but sadly underbaked and a bit raw. Again, I like the creativity, but it did not feel like the $25 I spent on a breakfast sandwich and a cookie was worth it.
