Sign in to reviewWe came here about half a dozen times during a 3 week stay in the area and had a great experience every time. Our orders where always simple, ice chai milk tea with boba and either a thai or black milk tea without boba. The kiosk made ordering easy even when the staff was busy and we never waited longer than about 6 or 7 minutes. The variety of drinks and deserts offered is quite staggering but I can definitely vouch for the classics. Good selectable sweetness levels and properly cold. At around 15 dollars total it's on the upper side of milk tea but the quality was solid and in a good portion size. On weekdays you can easily park in the garage when its open and go around the main entrance which was convenient.
customer service was awesome! I love it here, plan to go here at least twice a week! Boba was great, flavoring was awesome, and yes it may be overprices but it is worth it, I mean the way it taste, the way it looks; very modern place/store and my kids love it, everyday after school they always ask me if they can go to Bambu. Reminder: when people say it takes 20 minutes it's because it is sometimes very busy and humans aren't perfect and if people say, people who ordered after got their drinks and dessert before they did, it's because they had an easier, quicker, and faster order, trust me, I ran a business before, it is not easy.
We spent $40 dollars and had to wait 30 minutes and they did not make the drinks right and forgot boba for one of my drinks. One of the workers seemed like she was stressed and I understand it’s busy but maybe need to either hire different people or more people. Also they kept running out of things and telling people way after they had already ordered. The only semi tasty thing was the pandan waffle even though they forgot to add the powdered sugar.
I was excited for Bambu to open since they closed the one in SSF. Atmosphere was great when walking in and has a modern cafe appeal to them. I ordered three drinks, all Large Thai Teas w/ light on the ice (because I don’t want the drinks to be diluted), for my coworkers and I and I thought they would top it all the up with milk. However, they skimped out on the volume and there was a noticeable gap from the lid to the liquid. Giving them the benefit of the doubt that they just opened recently and overheard they ran out of ingredients on the first couple of days. The drinks were average at best, could have a more intense Thai flavoring to it and the saving grace is going to be the fresh boba they make on the spot.
Overpriced $9.19 for a medium banana smoothie. Was it good? Yes, Was it worth the almost $10 before they asked for a tip on a kiosk? No way, also the photo advertised boba in this smoothie ~ and I received none
