Bambuza Vietnam Kitchen - PDX Concourse C & E is a Vietnamese restaurant at Portland International Airport, serving travelers in Portland, Oregon. Its listed address is 7000 NE Airport Way, Concourse E #23155, Portland, OR 97218. The airport setting makes it a convenient option for a meal or drink before a flight, rather than a destination in the city center. Customer feedback describes food that can arrive quickly and look fresh, alongside mixed experiences with flavor, preparation, service, and value. The available information does not list operating hours, so travelers may want to check what is open when they pass through.
Reviews point to several Vietnamese-inspired choices, including tofu bánh mì, tofu fresh rolls, spring rolls, grilled marinated tofu, and a vermicelli noodle dish. One traveler particularly enjoyed the tofu bánh mì and fresh rolls, noting that both were vegan. Another praised grilled marinated tofu with vermicelli noodles as a satisfying preflight meal. These comments make the tofu options useful to know about for guests seeking a meat-free choice, though the menu and availability may vary. The Mekon Mule specialty cocktail is another specific item mentioned positively by a customer.
The restaurant may suit travelers looking for a quick airport meal with fresh rolls, noodles, or a sandwich-style option before boarding. Reviewers describe some dishes as tasty, fresh, and healthy-looking, and one noted that the food came out quickly. That can be helpful when time is limited. At the same time, feedback is not uniformly positive: some guests felt portions or quality did not justify airport pricing, and one described a small vermicelli bowl as tasty but expensive. As with other airport dining, it may be worth weighing convenience against the cost.
Experiences with preparation and service also vary. A guest reported that chicken was overcooked and dry, while another found the meat fatty and the inside of a spring roll crumbly. Other reviews describe the spring rolls as acceptable or the food as fine for airport dining. Service receives both praise and criticism: one customer called it sweet, while another felt overlooked by staff. These contrasting accounts offer a more balanced picture than relying on a single visit. The business has a 3.4-star rating based on 348 reviews, reflecting a range of customer experiences.
For travelers at PDX who want Vietnamese-inspired food in the airport, Bambuza Vietnam Kitchen offers a selection that includes tofu bánh mì, fresh rolls, vermicelli noodles, and a specialty cocktail. The strongest specific praise in the available reviews is for its vegan tofu dishes and grilled marinated tofu, while concerns focus on price, inconsistent meat preparation, and uneven service. Guests with limited time may appreciate the quick-food experience described by some reviewers; those focused on value may want to compare nearby airport options. Checking current availability before ordering is sensible, especially for particular dishes or dietary needs.

Really sweet service but food quality is not worth $28. Meat was very fatty and spring roll was crumbly on the inside. Taste was fine but there are a lot of better places at PDX.
A wonderful new addition since I last traveled through PDX. We all know that airportnfood prices are high, but it's satisfying when the food is good. I had the tofu bahn mi and the tofu fresh rolls. Both VEGAN. Both tasty.
Fantastic option at PDX. Great grilled, marinated tofu and vermicelli noodles dish. Excellent Mekon Mule specialty cocktail. Just what I needed before my flight.
It’s fine for airport food, the spring rolls were ok. For 28 dollars the small bun box was tasty and it was fresh
The good: food looks good, is healthy, and comes out quick. The bad: they seem to over cook their chicken. I returned the first one it was so dry, everything is coming off fresh, just over cooked. The service, they will literally walk right past you talking and ignore you. I didn't tip, and now I'm glad I didn't.
