Bánh mì is the standout choice in the available feedback. Customers mention barbecue pork, barbecue beef, and cold-cut sandwiches, praising their flavor, generous fillings, and satisfying size. One reviewer said a barbecue pork bánh mì tasted great and cost under $10, while another highlighted the cold-cut version for having a good balance of ingredients and an ample portion. Got a bbq Pork Bánh Mì. It tasted great and was well priced (under $10). However, the service and atmosphere did not feel very welcoming and expect to have it to go.
Absolute the best cold cut Banh mi anywhere. Has all of the ingredients and adequate quantities of each. The Banh mi is also the right size not small like some from other restaurants. Their Vietnamese menu is great; a lot offerings different options. Each is delicious like green papaya salad, egg rolls, spring rolls, Banh cuon, grilled beef with betel leaves etc. All are so good. Can easily come out of here spending hundreds.
Banh Mi Ba Le is a famous and well known Banh Mi as well as other Vietnamese dishes shop served right inside of Kam Man Market. The prices are pretty good for the portion they provide, and the staff are friendly and serve the food quite quickly. We typically get the bbq beef banh mi. At $8, it is well worth the price, and made fresh right in front of you with an assortment of vegetables as well as a sweet mayo appearing sauce they put on the bread. We've also tried the cold cut, but found it less appetizing with the Pate spread they place on it, giving it a weird taste we didn't enjoy.

Unfortunately, I had a confusing experience at this Ba Le location. I asked for a beef bánh mì and would have preferred to have a fresh one made, but the interaction around my request felt awkward and the customer service (guy) experience was a bit strange. In the end, I decided to leave. It was disappointing, especially since I’ve had much better and more welcoming service at the Dorchester and Malden locations. I definitely miss that level of customer service here.
