The restaurant is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday. Its 4.3-star rating across 194 reviews reflects a range of experiences, so diners may find it useful to consider what reviewers say about particular sandwiches, service, and seating before visiting.

Banh mi is the central draw in customer feedback. Reviewers describe warm, fluffy bread, and one praised a toasted sandwich filled with charcoal-grilled pork. Barbecue pork and shrimp banh mi have also been mentioned as satisfying choices. At the same time, opinions about portions and preparation are mixed: some customers appreciate the bread and flavor, while others have found certain sandwiches too sparse or not balanced to their taste. A vegetarian banh mi and tofu options are mentioned in reviews, but one vegetarian customer was disappointed with the filling. If you have specific preferences for ingredients or condiments, asking about them when ordering may help set expectations.

The menu feedback also includes vermicelli bowls, with tofu and vegetarian options noted by a customer. These may appeal to diners looking beyond a sandwich or seeking a meat-free choice. Reviewers often describe the food as quick and affordable, and one customer praised the friendly staff and cleanliness. Seating feedback varies: one review mentions plenty of room for a larger party, while another describes limited indoor seating and says the restaurant works better for takeout. The practical picture is a casual neighborhood stop where the experience can depend on the dish you choose and whether you plan to eat in or take your meal to go.

The restaurant may suit a quick lunch, a takeout stop, or a casual meal with company, though seating availability is worth keeping in mind. Extremely bland and disappointing. I ordered vegetarian bahn mi and got bread filled with way too much shredded carrot and almost nothing else. I asked for extra patte and mayo but received neither. If you want good bahn mi and Thai tea skip this spot and check out Ba Le, they are incredible.

Excellent Bahn Mi! Bun is high quality and toasted to perfection while the pork is charcoal grilled. Lady was very friendly, lots of seating for larger parties, and very clean. Highly recommend!

Love this spot! Food is delicious, made quick, and affordable. My favorite part is how fluffy, warm, and tasty the bread is. I highly recommend stopping by. I had the bbq pork and my partner had the shrimp and both were delicious.

I love the people, they seem extremely sweet and that's because they are. But common, Hellmans mayonnaise and amorosos bread. Extremely skimpy on meat and veggies. Ladies and gentlemen, I'll let you know a true banh mi place bakes their own bread and makes their own mayo and cha lua. This place is far from it. I cannot proudly recommend this to people as a banh mi. That being said, I know a good bread oven is hard to afford and get so I don't blame chinatown for having bad banh mis .

Great banhmi and vermicelli bowls with tofu and vegetarian options. I like the bread that they use for the banh mi and think it’s the best one in the neighborhood. Limited seating indoors, it’s more of a take-out place.
