I came to play in the tourney on pokemon day because I saw their instagram post about it. When I went in to ask where to sign up, an employee told me that I had to sign up online through their instagram post. I was confused because I didnt remember seeing a link on their post. I double checked if I missed it, and the post did in fact not have a link. It only stated that learn to play was at like 5 or something and the actual tourney was at 7:30. I did not end up playing in the pokemon day toruney. Another time, I went in and started talking with one of the locals before a regular Thursday tourney. The local was making racial towards me because I am vientamese while we were both looking through the binders at the glass counter. I did tell the local that I didn't find these jokes funny, and I am sure the employee on the other side of the counter heard me repeatedly say this. A few moments later, the local asked me "you're Korean right?" to which I responded with, "no im viet, I have said this before." The local and the employee both looked at each other, then at me and said, "whats the difference?" I was mildly annoyed because why is this employee making racial jokes alongside this local towards someone who they just met? I am also very sure that this employee heard me tell this local that these types of jokes aren't all that cool. Racial jokes are made after a certain level of friendship and I was a brand new face to this guy. Weird, whatever.. I then paid for a taro toasted coconut milk tea for $7 and the same employee told me if it was okay if I had the drink without a certain ingredient because they ran out of it. Most drinks on the menu are around $6, so I had to ask for an extra topping because without it, it would basically just be a taro coconut, which is $6. It isn't much of a difference, but as someone who has worked a few years in food service, one being a boba shop, I'm always offering things to substitute if something ran out rather than asking "are you okay with settling for less?" The employee is a bigger white man with a cap. I understand that tcg employees are very chill and friendly to where they crack jokes with their locals and new faces, but I do believe that there are certain jokes that should be saved for the regulars. I want to make it clear that I am not upset at the shop for this local making these jokes, but more so that an employee didn't try to stop this local and joined in. Overall, this shop concept is awesome and cool, but I feel there is a lack of customer service and welcoming vibes. I will not be coming back.

Good, consistent drink. Big menu of various flavors to choose from including caffeine-free drinks and all very customizable. Also, they often have "events" for what card games (i.e., Magic, pokémon, etc) and most recently I saw folks playing w beyblades.

Cute little place. Lots of drink options, Hershey brand ice cream sold here, and they have little pop up events too! We came on the weekend when they were having some sort of pop up for K Pop (I think). It was super cool to see all the stuff for sale while I enjoyed my awesome Hershey milk chocolate ice cream! My son loved his tea drink. Definitely recommend!

Bestea TCG has been my one stop shop for Pokemon and One Piece for over a year now. The shop has great selection and great atmosphere. A lot of the employees work the drink side in addition to working the TCG side so if you walk in for a drink after 10 people walked in to trade thousands of dollars of cards you're probably gonna have to wait for your drink, not being sarcastic just remember that this store buys, trades and sells cards as well. The TCG side is 10/10 and the drinks are 10/10 as well, 5 bucks for some fries and chicken nuggies ain't a bad deal either. You can also ask them to make your boba tea half sweet if you want to cut down the sugar. Over all great shop, great owner, cool employees and great prices. Boba drinks and TCG tournaments? This place is definitely worth checking out. Last note, they primarily deal in Pokemon, One Piece, Gundam, Magic The Gathering, and Yu-Gi-Oh, they do not take sports cards.

Love this place so much! Everyone behind the counters is super sweet and helpful. Great tasting drinks and fair priced TCG product. I'm super happy they expanded the TCG section 😊😊 …
