I spent several days researching hairdressers for my daughter through websites, reviews, & social media and ultimately selected Blissful Creation Hair Studio in McKinney. The salon had great & authentic reviews, great examples of the work provided, and menu of options that allowed me to notate the specific needs of my daughter. My daughter is allergic to gluten and items with gluten including oat based products. Gluten and oats cause her scalp to become itchy, red, and to blister and bleed. The hair dresser Ms Ayo reviewed all products with her at the start of the appointment after already reviewing them herself. She quickly got to work and delivered gorgeous, knotless Boho braids. We are both thrilled with the outcome and highly recommend Blissful Creation’s. The salon was also clean, well kept, & welcoming. Thank you

Kiara has done my children hair (ages 6 and 4) for a while now. She’s very professional, patient, and also not heavy handed. They love her as well. My daughter normally get knotless or stitch braids and they are always neat. I have been going to her myself for a few years as well. She’s done several styles on me from ponytails, knotless braids and stitch braids. I love the products she uses and just the overall experience.
Ayo is amazing! She always does my relaxer touch-ups, and I’m always happy with the results. She’s very good at what she does, gentle with my hair, and always leaves it looking beautiful and well taken care of. I definitely recommend her!
The first time Ayo did my hair for my wedding (a sew-in), she did an excellent job—I was very pleased with the results. However, the second time I went to her for individual twists (I provided reference photos), the outcome was disappointing. The twists were uneven in length, especially at the top of my head, to the point where I couldn’t wear them down and had to keep them in a ponytail. My daughter ended up adding extra hair to help even out the length. Additionally, my edges—already thinning—were braided very tightly. I later had to remove some of the twists to prevent further hair loss around my edges. I do believe Ayo is a skilled beautician, but it may depend on the specific hairstyle requested and whether she is fully focused at the time of the appointment.
