Customers describe experiences that range from very positive to disappointing, so clear communication about the service you want can help set expectations. Some reviewers praise technicians for patience and for turning a nail-biting client’s nails into the look she requested. Others say technicians recreated intricate designs for a child accurately across multiple visits. These accounts point to examples of attentive work and design skill, while other reviews raise concerns about service quality, comfort, or results. It may suit someone looking for a manicure or pedicure, a specific nail design, or a salon appointment with a technician who can discuss the desired result. Families may also find the customer reports about children’s nail designs useful context. For the best fit, bring a reference photo if you have one, explain the finish and length you want, and ask questions if anything feels uncomfortable or differs from the agreed plan. Checking current hours and service details directly with the salon is wise before heading to this Englewood nail salon.

I was a walk-in yesterday for my first visit. I had builder gel on my hands (French chrome) and a gel pedicure with added wax, and I paid extra for cuticle removal. The total was $179.38, and I also left a $35 cash tip. The builder gel service was very disappointing. The product used appears different from standard builder gel, and it was not filed down after application, which is a basic step I’ve consistently experienced at other salons. As a result, the gel is extremely thick and looks unnatural. It’s also very lumpy because it wasn’t filed down. I specifically choose builder gel for a clean, natural look, and this result is the opposite. For the price paid, this was not acceptable. I will likely not return, which is unfortunate given how convenient the location is.
I never, ever post reviews, but I went here for the first time yesterday and had THE BEST experience. I am a severe nail biter, so my tech, Jenny, did not have much to work with. She made my poor nails into exactly what I was looking for. She was so patient and wound up staying 15 minutes past closing, even when I offered to make my design a little simpler. I highly recommend Blue Sky, and especially Jenny.
Second time getting my nails here. First time was a decent normal experience. This second time i went the experience was terrible from the start. I regret paying for this service. …
The mani pedi my husband received yesterday is unacceptable. The nail tech cut his nails too short and cut multiple toes and fingers badly enough that they bled. He was in pain during the appointment and remains in pain 24 hours later. We also very concerned about the risk of infection and ingrown toenails. This was careless and unsafe work. If the tech was not available for the service, or if the service would have interfered with the end of her shift, we would have happily come back. My husband did not complain during and after the service due to a lack of knowledge, and thought this was a normal occurrence. A mani pedi should never result in bleeding and pain, and it is especially unacceptable because the total price of the service was over $80. I paid for his service in cash, and I am requesting a full refund for both the manicure and pedicure. Please let me know when I can come by to collect the refund.
My daughter 9 year old got her nails done here multiple times, and each time with a different intricate design and the technicians were able to replicate it perfectly. I can’t express my gratitude enough. These people are true professionals!
