Boba Tea & Crumbs - Shaenfield 1604

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would!!! Literally do not come to this place. The drinks are so nasty, always bland and unsweetened… The owner is RUDE and the customer service is HORRIBLE!! I ordered two boba teas from here, and one of my drinks literally had a piece of METAL in it!!! It seemed like foil almost, maybe from someone’s piece of gum? I ordered a slush so I thought it was a piece of ice, but when I took it out, it scraped my skin like metal. I went back for a refund, and they told me I couldn’t get it because I didn’t have the drinks with me. Mind you, they retraced my order, remembered when I came… but I guess, didn’t believe me about the metal. I was basically called a liar without being called a liar. I didn’t have the drinks because we took them home, found the metal, I called 5 times with no answer, and returned without the drinks to express the issue. We did not drink them and proceeded to throw them away!! An employee, apparently the “manager” called the owner and the owner said we should’ve gone home, found the metal, and returned all within 30 minutes in order to get a refund… what a joke. DON’T COME HERE!

Worst banh mi I have ever had. Pate or the meat was absolutely rotten and smelled like rotten fish.

I came to this place for a DoorDash order and while I was waiting for it to be completed. The wonderful woman working the counter completed the order and made me my own milk tea for free. This was a rare act of kindness and that’s one thing I haven’t experienced very often. This isn’t my side of town but this Tea is amazing and I will be coming back here and bringing family

We only had boba so I can't speak to the food. The service was great and fast. The drink was so good! We tried the wintermelon and brown sugar milk teas. I've tried the wintermelon at another boba shop that was awful so I was hesitant to try my son's drink. It was so tasty. It was perfectly sweet with a nice fruit flavor. The brown sugar boba's flavor was probably one of the best I've had. I loved that I could taste the molasses part of the brown sugar. The bob was chewier than we're used to, but overall the drinks are great and we will be back!

Tried to charge almost $14 for a $7.25 sandwich and $2 in add ons. Asked them why and they claimed the price was different than what is on their menu board. When I showed them the menu board they have a sorry not sorry lame excuse of not having the authority to change in the computer regardless of what is advertised on their board. They wouldn't let me speak to a manager nor get contact information. They only have the options of paying the made up amount or leaving. Never even got a sorry or understanding. Don't go here if you want an honest transaction or good customer service. Update: owner's response indicates they think reviews work like a chat rather than proactively providing a means to contact them. No, owner, I do not have a receipt because I refused to pay the amount that Brittany claimed was the real price, rather than the one you all advertised.
