We had such a wonderful dinner at Boucherie tonight. The food was absolutely spectacular, but what really made the evening special was how incredibly accommodating and thoughtful they were about accessibility. Their google notes that the restaurant is not ADA accessible, and from the photos I could see the stairs at the front entrance. My husband uses a wheelchair, so I reached out ahead of time just to ask what our options might be. They immediately let me know about a side gate leading through their beautiful patio, where we were able to enter with no stairs and only a tiny curb to navigate. That may sound like a small thing, but when you’re navigating New Orleans in a wheelchair, knowing ahead of time that you can comfortably get into a restaurant—and then arriving and being treated with such genuine care—makes the experience a million times better. We sat outside on the beautiful patio, had an incredible meal, and were able to simply enjoy a lovely night out together. No stress, no feeling like we were an inconvenience—just wonderful hospitality. Chef Nathaniel Zimet, hats off for an absolutely incredible meal, and a very special thank you to Angie Lutrick, who was an amazing host and made us feel so welcomed and cared for from the moment we arrived. The food alone is worth five stars, but Angie and the entire Boucherie team’s kindness and hospitality made the evening truly memorable. And for anyone navigating New Orleans in a wheelchair: don’t let the stairs out front discourage you. Call ahead. There is an accessible way into the patio, and they took wonderful care of us. ❤️

This place was such a surprise! We went here for our anniversary and we couldn’t have expected how exceptional everything was! We were so impressed by our server Sophia who was so sweet and went above and beyond just to make us feel special. The food was SO GOOD! We did the tasting menu and it was spectacular! Really great spot for a date! The Friday lunch menu is affordable and delicious. I loved the grilled Caesar salad and BLT. Also the mojo coffee is fantastic! Great service and beautiful interior plus a cute patio.
