Sign in to reviewThey've changed their name but the baked goods are all the same. I love coming here to buy their Portuguese egg tarts. The egg tarts here are amazing and I always eat them too quickly before I can take a picture. Bad news is the egg tart prices keep going up and up and it's getting to the point where it's too expensive and not worth buying anymore (in my opinion), but it is delicious. My family and I aren't as big on the breads, but their breads are slow and fluffy and usually in the light side of flavor which I do like. But the portion size is on the smaller side. I recently ordered and bought a cake from them for the first time and they didn't disappoint. I got a regular vanilla fruit cake and it was SO GOOD. The cake was, like their breads, soft and fluffy. It was filled with fruit and decorations with fruit was free too. I will definitely come back in the future to order more cakes.
Great place. It is so yummy and fresh. Moreover, the price is cheaper than other bakeries! I chose breads at random and they were all delicious. Moreover, I really liked the glutinous sticky rice with meat fillings. They take cash and cards. I believe card has a minimum of $5.00.
The MOST authentic and quintessential Taiwanese bakery in the DFW area if you are a Taiwanese person who is looking for one. The buns and pastries sold here are exactly what you would expect to get in Taiwan.
I ordered a coffee fruit cake from the store at 12/13/19 10:30 am, there is no specified fruit style. Just want like the catalog photos, the store charged me $ 25 at that time. When I pickup it cake at 12/15 /19 12:30pm, The cake is no fresh fruit in surface and different from catalog photos. It is obvious that the shop is suspected of cutting corners and cheating on me.
Good pastries and service. They make fresh egg tarts on the weekends. I was running late and getting there close to closing one day, so naturally they didn’t have many egg tarts left. I was originally looking for a dozen but there was only 5 left. I told them I would take 5 and said I would be there in 20 minutes. I somehow got there in 10 and they asked if I could wait a couple minutes since they fired up the oven and started a fresh batch for me. I got fresh out of the oven egg tarts that were delicious! I was okay with what was left from the day but they decided to go the extra mile for me. Great service
