Sign in to reviewI was a Lemon Grove CVS customer for years; their service was OK, with no reason to leave, but not great. When they closed, my prescriptions were transferred to Walgreens across the street—horrible service. As a small business owner myself, I decided to try Broadway Pharmacy. WOW, what a great place. Fast, friendly, and easy. Parking isn't great, but that's not an issue for me, and not much they can do about it. As a first-time customer, I went in about 30 minutes after my doctor put my order in to give them my insurance info, expecting to come back in a couple of hours. She (I'm horrible with names) said, "We were just about to call you, took my insurance card, and told me it would be about 5 minutes. In less than that, I was out the door. I've been back a few times now, always the same service. I hope more people find out about them—a great family-owned, small business.
Cam is the most caring of ANY pharmacist I've EVER had. Ensuring prescriptions are always done in a timely manner, and her ability to help with prescription and maintenance problems go "above and beyond!" She never skips a beat with birthday cards or yearly calendars. Than your Cam!
I am very fortunate I found this place. I don't wait in long lines and the staff is incredible. I am so glad I was introduced to this family pharmacy.
I've been using Broadway Pharmacy for about, maybe 6 years now. The employees & the Pharmacists (Vincent-retired now & his wife CAM) are AMAZING people, just really great people. Cam has so much compassion & care and concern for all of her customers. Plus she's funny. She goes above & beyond to help a customer in need. If she can't help for whatever reason, she explains the reason in ways that her customers can understand. She never looks down on her customers nor treats them bad nor judges them even if someone is homeless or battling mental health issues. Cam doesn't look down on a customer or treat them like drug addicts on the street if they need to take pain meds either. Cam is firm when setting boundaries & explains the laws where customers will understand without them feeling hopeless in despair. ONE MORE THING; Every year customers get a "BIRTHDAY" CARD in the mail too. It's always a nice surprise. I wish this pharmacy and the employees could receive much more positive recognition and awards for going out of their way to help others....
