Both of my kids got ear infections two days apart in late February. We had the first antibiotic prescription sent to the lemon grove location. They took three hours to fill, and whenever I tried calling them to ask for an ETA, they *never* answered. I would select the option to speak to a person, since the automatic machine would sometimes tell me they were still working on it, and at other times it would tell me there was no prescription under my name, so I was lost. After three hours, I got a text that it was ready. The following two days, when my daughter got her ear infection, she was in a lot of pain. She also had a prescription but I had them send it to a different walgreens location since I was unhappy with the lemon grove one. I had them send it to Euclid. They were even worse. They took five hours to fill, in the meantime, my daughter was screaming and crying in pain. And again, the same thing happened with the phones. No one answers. I never waited more than an hour for a pharmacy to fill a prescription. And, this time, I never received a text that it was ready. I had to drive in person to have them give it to me. The previous time I used lemon grove Walgreens a few months back, I got a text that my prescription was ready. When I went to pick up, they told me it was in fact not ready yet, so I had to wait 20 minutes while they filled it. The guy had told me no one even touched it before my arrival. My parents also had a bad experience with Walgreens last week, so much so that my dad refused their services entirely. We will all be switching to CVS. Too many bad experiences with Walgreens.

The pharmacist tonight (02/25/26) told my newly diagnosed ADHD partner that eventually he could "mind over matter" his NEUROLOGICAL DISABILITY THAT HE WAS BORN WITH and "just learn to change his habits" and eventually "not need these pills anymore!" when we went to pick up his medication. Excuse me?! This is not something you just learn to overcome. That statement was INCREDIBLY unprofessional and unwarranted. This doesn't even include the fact that another medication he needs is almost ALWAYS out of stock and they will only magically find a bottle for him when he calls and stresses that he is on his last dose. They don't even put it in a proper orange Walgreens bottle either, it's just the whole manufacturer's bottle. What the heck?! This place needs better staffing and a pharmacist who keeps their nose out of patients' business.

I went online on Tuesday and scheduled my grandmother for a COVID and Flu shot today at 4pm. We had completed all the paperwork prior to her appointment, arrived/checked in 10 minutes early. At 4:15, she still hadn’t been called. It wasn’t until the man working the front desk had to stop what he was doing assisting patients with their prescriptions that had to ask what we were waiting for. We then told him what we were here for and he very kindly notified the pharmacist. My grandmother wasn’t seen until 4:40pm. 40 minutes AFTER her scheduled appointment. They need a better system or the pharmacist needs to check appointments more often because this is ridiculous. The person at the front desk shouldn’t have to stop what they’re doing to notify the pharmacist of an appointment.

This pharmacy is severely understaffed. No one ever picks up the phone. The in person line takes like an hour. Medications are always late or out of stock. The pharmacist Sarah is super rude on the phone and not helpful. I am definitely switching to a different pharmacy because it’s getting so ridiculous at this point.
