While looking for a little cup of Colombian coffee, I stumbled upon this place. To my surprise, it isn't the traditional small-town coffee shop vibe they try to mimic on the exterior; rather, it’s a modern, fast-paced concept featuring traditional Colombian baked goods—which are absolutely delicious. This was the first time I’ve ever had a *buñuelo* that was perfectly fluffy and had just the right touch of salt—usually, I find them too salty. The service is friendly, and the only downside is that it isn't located in the town where I live.

I wish I could give zero stars to this place. I ordered an iced vanilla coffee and it tasted like chocolate milk, ridiculously sweet and barely tasted like coffee. This is not a standard I expect from a Colombian restaurant being Colombian myself. When I politely asked the employee if she could change it to a black Colombian coffee instead, she refused. When I asked for her name, she refused to tell me and then when I asked again she clearly made one up and lied about it. She said she would “add more coffee,” but the drink was so overwhelmingly sweet that adding coffee would not have fixed the problem. I simply wanted a plain coffee with no syrup so I could actually drink it. When someone is trying a new place for the first time, it shouldn’t be the customer’s responsibility to “order wisely” just to avoid wasting their money. The responsibility should be on the business to ensure the customer leaves happy with what they paid for, especially when the issue could have been solved with a simple drink change. I’ve worked in hospitality for over 10 years, and the entire goal of the industry is customer satisfaction. Instead, I was met with dismissiveness and zero willingness to resolve a very simple issue. We realized after that the woman also gave my mother change in Colombian pesos… This was genuinely some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I bought 17 items from the bakery and only got 4 sauces. I did ask for more sauces and was told you have to pay for more now. I don’t know if management has changed but products are smaller and more expensive.
