Recently, the hospital I work at ordered cakes from this place, and they were so delicious. The cakes were amazing especially the coconut cake and guava cake. The cakes were also beautifully decorated and perfectly sliced. After trying them, I definitely want to visit the bakery in person and see what else they have to offer!
Wife and I stopped in to get her a slice of cake for her birthday and for me to check out their cookie selection. Boy am I glad we did, their overall choices are outstanding! My wife got a slice of the Pineapple Delight, which was super yummy and quite refreshing. We also got slices of the Guava Strawberry Cream Cheese Pie and my first ever slice of Banana Cream Pie, something I had never tasted before in my life. One bite of that Banana Cream Pie and I was instantly hooked, creamy good with added slices of bananas in the cream. I've discovered a new banana dessert for myself! The Guava Strawberry Cream Cheese Pie was also very delicious and the guava added a great flavor to it. I also took home some cookies (Peanut Butter, Ginger Molasses and the Paniolo), all were as advertized, crispy yet chewy in the middle. They also all tasted really well when I heated them up. This is one of my new favorite spots to get cookies, pies and cakes down in the south Seattle area.
This place really helped me out with a last minute (technically, day-before) order for two cakes. Just FYI when I went to pick it up I heard them cut off orders for the next day so I don't think they're always in the position to do that, so don't let this review act as a guide for expectations around order lead times, I think I just got extremely lucky after every other place told me they couldn't do a cake for pick up next day. The chocolate dobash was really tasty and well received. Thanks to the CoPB Team for their help and accommodation.
Awesome bakery. Owners are from the island of Kauai. Great blend of baked goods with a touch of Hawaiian flavors like guava, passion fruit and mango. Rainbow cake and haupia (coconut cream) cake is to die for! Everything we tried was so good!
Custom ordered one of their Guava cakes to be frosted with pastel purple instead of their standard white with fruit topping. I added the shells and candle on top for my daughter's 'Under the Sea' themed birthday party. Color match to my reference photo was perfect, cake was ready at pick up time as requested. Mahalo nui loa!!
