Sign in to reviewTons of trinkets of all sizes, shapes, colors, and purposes. Not all are Chinese-specific, as there appeared to be several representations from Japan, Korea, and likely other East Asian regions. And, of course, a lot of the items were Americanized in some way. Fun to walk through!
Had an unfortunate experience with the store owner when she yelled at my younger sister. My sister asked about the meaning of a Chinese character stamp and the owner yelled at her to put it down and not touch anything. We understood and asked if we could purchase it. She then turned her back towards us and stopped talking to us. Sort of a wild experience.
One of the staff members here was very rude to my mother. I don’t know if she was an employee or the owner. She said “excuse me” to my mom, but my mother has a hearing disability and didn’t react immediately. Because of that, she made a very rude face and noise at her. I said, “You could be a little bit more polite,” but she didn’t understand and didn’t respond at all. Don’t you guys have family? What would you feel if someone did that to your family?
Never tire of going here. Took my young grandsons for the first time yesterday and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Made memories and bought mementos. What fun!
Many Chinese stores in a row, some prices are good some are over the top. Check yourself before purchasing. Very nice walk around
