I had an outstanding experience with CD Remodeling - from the initial consultation with Carmit, the project manager, to the completion of the project. At first I had concerns, as you often hear horror stories about home improvement projects, but from day one they made the process smooth and stress-free. I’m very grateful that I chose this company, they really made everything clear and straightforward. I started with a kitchen remodel and was very impressed with their work so I decided to do a full home remodel with them. I couldn’t be happier with the results and I highly recommend CD Remodeling to anyone considering a home renovation.

I was super impressed with CD Remodeling - I unreservedly recommend them. I’ve worked with some other builders in the past and for this job I interviewed about 7 contractors and felt that CD had the best grip on the project. I was really impressed with Carmit’s construction background and her and the team’s deep knowledge of building and contracting. They completed a substantial remodel for us - taking down structural walls, gut renovation of living room, kitchen and bathroom. And they did it on time! I thought their pricing was really reasonable, and they kept in close communication all the way through the project. They offered informed advice along the way, both on design elements but also clever ways for us to save money with supplies - without impacting overall quality. This team is my favorite GC in San Francisco now!

We decided on a full lower floor remodel and Carmit came highly recommended from a friend who is in the real estate business. She was recommended for her attention to detail and work quality. We’ve had a chance to work with several other contractors in the past and can confidently say that Carmit’s pride and accountability to her work is stellar. The thing that stands out the most about Carmit is that she was just as communicative and responsive during the bidding phase as she was throughout the entire project. We had regular check ins on site and via phone throughout the project, including after hours texts and calls when schedules didn’t line up during the day. I never was left wondering if I’d be able to get in touch with her. And when we ran into a few hiccups during the project, she was always open to feedback and took accountability to “get it right.” She also had a crew on site every single day of the project. The project ran very close to budget and timelines originally quoted. The work and attention to detail were great and we are glad to have a new space to live in!

We hired CD Remodeling to remodel our kitchen. Our foreman, Francisco, was great to work with. His team was very professional, and Francisco offered great solutions to those pesky problems that arose. We also worked closely with the general contractor, Carmit, who secured the foreman and helped us at every step along the way. She went with us to pick out the cabinetry and kitchen island and was always available for any question we had. She also had great ideas on upgrades that we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. It was a pleasure to work with their team.
