Sign in to reviewI was looking for a boudin kolache and found one here. It was delicious but while I was there a spinach feta croissant caught my eye. It was so delicious I'm sorry I didn't buy more! Excellent food and excellent service. Highly recommend!
We were passing through looking for a Car Wash, saw this on the corner. We were wanting a little snack after lunch. We always love little spots like this, hole in the wall, authentic. We ordered six different types of Mexican cookies, empanada, and a turnover. We got these back to our hotel room and absolutely went off on these things and now we are fighting a nap. I had one of each of the cookies my wife had the empanada and they were absolutely incredibly good. Get one of EVERYTHING 😃Two 👍🏻👍🏻 wayyyy up!
Please, please, please treat yourself to these amazing womans bakery. I grew up with Italian Sicilians and this is a Spanish establishment but the cross over of these baked goods is astronomical. The bakery is clean and quaint. The service was homey and warm. These ladies were a joy to talk to. But, what was more impressive than the welcoming service; was the baked goods. They have this spinach and cheese croissant that was so delicately laid with a lattice pattern. This is hands down the best croissant baked good I have EVER had! My husband was also pleasantly surprised with his lemon donut and kolaches. I ate a cream puff that shot me back to being a kid in my grandmothers kitchen. This is will be a regular stop for us now. This is a hidden gem for sure. Note: for my coffee drinkers, they are working on their coffee station. I’m excited to see this owners growth
I ordered a last-minute 2 dozen assortment of pastries for a coworker party and was so impressed. The selection the nice lady chose was great variation and delicious. My coworkers were all very happy. My favorite was this flaky, chocolate- filled thing (I don't know pastries, sorry). I should have taken photos, but everything got eaten pretty quickly. Very cute place, i need to return for some coffee when I'm not in such a rush.
The service here was friendly and also helpful with ordering! When looking up this place online I was really interested in all the different fillings for the kolaches, I arrived around 8:30 am and only 2 flavors were left so they must sell out fast, I was looking forward to trying the brisket kolache though. Two kolaches and a donut was $7. Overall, the breading on the kolaches was softer than what I was expecting but still good, I appreciate that they put a decent amount of filling, and the meat was decently seasoned (the boudain was actually kinda spicy). The server suggested the donut style cinnamon roll and I see why! It was soft, buttery, flaky, and had a glaze that wasn't overly sweet.
