Sign in to reviewI don't understand the low ratings of this practice but I have to say that I Love Dr. Christina M. Nguyen. She is patient with me and listens to everything that was going on with me. She explained everything that needed to be done. I have been suffering with neck & shoulder pain and loss of motion due to the pain. I am a 68 year old woman and I just could not find anyone who had any answers and I kept bugging my Primary Dr. and she finally sent me to Dr. Nguyen after several others who did nothing for me. Dr. Nguyen did nerve and muscle testing and went over the treatment plan. I have been going to her for about a year now and she has been giving me Botox in my neck and Shoulder muscles. It is Amazing who good I feel and have felt since the first treatment. I go about every 3-4 months and I can not say that the pain is 70-80% better. Range of motions is really good and I don't have to rotate my whole body to back out my car. I have been doing pilates for about 6 years now and I am back to doing regular pilates and not Gentle Pilates. I also sleep so much better without pain in my neck waking me up or not letting me get comfortable. I have referred her to several people and they love her too. I have never had any issues with her front desk staff, so I can't speak on that, or the other Doctors in the practice. Also, my medicare pays for most of the treatments. I hope this helps.
I had a very disappointing experience here. The front-desk staff were extremely unprofessional, dismissive, and unwilling to take responsibility for the confusion their own reminder system created. I arrived believing my appointment time was different based on the message they sent, and instead of helping or even showing basic empathy, they simply refused to accommodate me, even though the doctor had no patient at that moment. I sat there with severe back pain while they repeatedly told me there was “nothing they could do.” After pushing for help, they finally gave me a new appointment five days later. The doctor may be good, but the front-desk behavior makes the entire experience stressful and unnecessarily unpleasant. They urgently need training in communication, professionalism, and patient care.
I saw Dr. Christine for severe nerve pain. Her knowledge, compassion and communication are excellent. She has gone above and beyond to help me find a solution for my health issues.
Dr. Nguyen is an Excellent Doctor! Unfortunately the front office staff are completely opposite-they are HORRIBLE to deal with. They are lazy and never answer the phones, they say you can text them but they rarely respond. Dr. Nguyen wanted me back within the next week for treatment of my migraines and the front office staff disregarded her orders and made me wait several weeks to go back. I have tried to follow up with them to come in sooner and they will not respond to voice mails or texts. My insurance has also called them twice now and left voice messages- also no response from the office staff. Ollie and Karina have been the two front office staff that I have had to deal with and on top of health issues, dealing with insurance and Physicans Plaza these two staff memebrs have been completely unprofessional, rude and condescending in their communication with me.
I honestly love Dr. Nguyen. She has been so helpful with my migraine treatment. She made me go cold turkey on lots of meds I was taking for years. And I am doing amazingly well after trusting in her. Staff (front desk area) I cannot comment on. I guess they aren’t always super friendly but not enough to make me not go back. Medical assistants have been great.
