Sign in to reviewThis is probably the largest dried goods store in Chinatown. I bought several dried items, including dried shiitake mushrooms, and the quality was good considering the price.
The product is a bit pricey, but you can negotiate the price.
I used to live in San Francisco and remembered how super crowded Chinatown was. I always had to pay attention and be aware at all times where I was going, who I was with and make efficient stops. It was super busy and super crowded. It was an accepted vibe because the demand was extremely high for the quality of goods that cannot be purchased anywhere else. Years later I visit this ghost town and was shocked in the same vein heart broken the Chinatown I once knew is scarce. Many shops have been permanently closed. So sad!!! What is happening!?
Dried goods and herbs galore. This branch has the most complete selection of the typical herbs, dried seafood, dried produce used in Cantonese southern Chinese style cuisines. Their prices are also very reasonable compared to other branches located elsewhere in the Bay Area. This is where we go when looking for exotic ingredients for medicinal soups or festive stews.
