I was genuinely impressed by the delicious options, especially so late in the day! It looked so appealing from behind the glass, so we took one of everything! When we sat down outside to sample all of the desserts, I had to take a second to process the taste and texture of what blessed my tongue! First, I tried a churro cinnamon roll. The texture of the sugar and cinnamon, the sweetness of the dessert sent me to heaven! Genuinely appalled, I rated that one a 10/10. Next, I tried the buckwheat cookie. I debated trying it because I've never had a buckwheat cookie I liked, but tried it anyways. Another 10/10 with almost no comment! The taste was a sweet almondy, crumbly almost crunchy texture. Finally (since I have to share with my family), I tried the cinnamon roll with a nice, rich cream cheese spread on it. Definitely a wonderful finale dessert, as it reminded me of my grandmother's homemade cinnamon rolls. I've never simply been able to rate a place truly a 10/10 experience, but this one would be it. Please stop by and try their bakery items!

As I walked in this bake shop, I almost felt like walking into a big shop in California or Hawaii. I have to remember I’m still in Pasadena. It is a small but diverse artisan bread and baking goods. I opted this time for the sourdough bread, the cinnamon rolls and the ham and cheese croissant. I would’ve taken a picture of the ham and cheese croissant, but I ate it already. Sourdough bread is nice and sourdoughy. I believe they started in the Pasadena now market and eventually got a brick and mortar. This gem is a great addition to Pasadena texas.

First time to visit this place and it was great. It's local, looks great and the little bites of the Cinnamon Roll and Sticky bun were amazing. We will be back.

I'm pretty sure Coastal was already closed because I walked in after hours not knowing but regardless friendly Katherine welcomed me in and made small talk. She introduced me to her lovely family! I ordered a raspberry Danish, macadamia nut cookie and a strawberry whipped cream croissant. Proportions are big and filling. Cookie was generously made with nuts. The whipped cream was sweet and tasty. It was like they managed to replicate Blue Bell vanilla ice cream. I'd show pictures but I was so eager to scarf everything down Lol It was all delicious! Can't wait to return and try something new! 😋

I wasn’t expecting much but boy am I pleasantly surprised. The Earl grey bun is probably my top 10 pastries I’ve had. So flakey, not too sweet and the earl grey comes through. The pistachio fig danish is great also! The flavors compliment eachother so well. The blueberry scone was just a tad sweet for me, but it is perfect with a cup of hot tea. So glad we stumbled upon this shop!
