Their staff and service was excellent. I've had a few visits and every time they've been professional and had no problems answering my questions and concerns. Both the Orange and Long Beach locations are excellent.
I had LASIK surgery a few days ago at Coastal Vision and it was an extremely positive experience. I was brought in right at my reporting time, barely had to wait at all. Everyone was extremely nice from the very start, from the front desk to the technicians. The optometrist I saw for my final checks, Dr. Do, was so kind and comforting. The counselor I had (I'm so mad that I forget her name, but she was a younger woman with glasses and dark brown hair), was SO sweet. She put me at ease a lot and explained everything to me in detail, and answered all of my questions. Dr. Marvasti came out to say hello before the surgery and to check on me. During the surgery, he walked me through every. single. step. The surgery itself was SO fast, but I knew what was happening the entire time, which made it SO much less stressful. The entire surgery team was super nice and congratulated me afterwards. Overall, it was a great experience with a procedure I was super anxious about. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Marvasti and the entire Coastal Vision team. I should also mention that my initial consult (way before my surgery) was also great.
Dr. Tran and his team at Coastal Vision truly are “the doctor’s doctor.” As an optometrist with over 10 years of experience, I hold a very high standard when it comes to surgical care. Dr. Tran has performed cataract surgery on my father-in-law, mother, and father, all with outstanding outcomes and zero complications. Dr. Dan Tran, Dr. Stephanie Tran, and Dr. Katherine Do have taken exceptional care of my family, and I would trust no one more with the people closest to me. Having personally evaluated thousands of post-operative cataract patients in my career, I can confidently say that the precision of their incisions and the quality of their lens placement are among the very best I have seen.
