I had the lavender Boba and it was amazing! We also had these strawberry pastry puff, and we think it could use a little less cream, but the flavors were great and not too overwhelming. We will definitely be back here.
Good food completely ruined by a hostile, petty owner. Avoid! Worst customer service ever. He is so unwelcoming that people in our party stepped outside to get away from his vibe. We were visiting from out of town and deeply disappointed. The shop is incredibly hot, cluttered, and doesn't feel clean. The chè was good, but not worth enduring the owner's horrible service. The other staff members were helpful, but the owner ruined the experience. For our order, we got chè and drinks. I asked if a no-sugar option was possible for my artichoke drink. He said no, so I agreed to try it normal. Then, he offered to lighten it. What he handed me was completely watered-down. He admitted to my face he just added water when I asked if that was what he did. I asked for it to be remade normal because it tasted like water; the remade version's flavor difference was night and day. I ordered a chè 3 màu for my toddler. She loved the jelly, so I asked to buy an extra side of it since they scrimped on the portion. He flatly said no, claiming they don't sell chè toppings on the side. I opened their menu and saw a "DIY Chè" option listed, which he should have suggested. I went up to build my own chè. The menu states you can choose up to 5 options, but out of pure spite, the owner said I could only have 4 choices. Slightly after, he tried to ask where I was from. Already annoyed by his attitude, I said, "I'm from where people are nice, (especially to paying customers)." He then handed me my new order with the wrong jelly. A nicer employee stepped in, to fix my order with the correct jelly, and confirmed the rude man was the owner. The owner then chimed in to say my drink wasn't watered down—even though he already admitted it was. His responses to reviews show defensiveness rather than business acumen. His response to this will be no different. --- UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: The owner’s response perfectly proves my point about his defensiveness. Let's clear up his "context" with actual facts: * The Drink: I asked for no sugar first, then agreed to normal. He offered to lighten it but just poured water into it, completely diluting it. He admitted this to my face. Why lie now? * Toppings & DIY Spite: He claims ingredients are "reserved," yet let me order the DIY Chè with those exact same ingredients right after. He restricted my choices to 4 out of pure pettiness when the menu says up to 5. * The Florida Comment: I only said "I'm from where people are nice" AFTER enduring his cold attitude for 15 minutes. It wasn't a broad insult to MA—it was a direct reflection of HIS miserable customer service. Twisting this into a state-wide insult is a desperate deflection. * The Atmosphere: Notice how he completely ignored that his shop is uncomfortably hot, cluttered, and unclean? Yes, life is much more enjoyable with kindness, which is exactly why you should show some to paying customers. Look at how he gaslights negative reviews—it speaks for itself.
What an awesome place to stumble upon that specializes in Vietnamese dessert. The things that we ordered taste so good and was just so reminiscent of the Vietnamese desserts we make it home. They know what they’re doing here.
Pretty inside with the faux florals. They even have an offering in their cafe. It took a little while to get my boba but there was a few people in front of me. The brown sugar almond milk boba was really good. I drank it before I even got home to be honest. The salt and pepper popcorn chicken was one of the best popcorn chickens I had. I enjoyed it. I wish the staff was more trained in dairy allergies. They couldn’t tell me with certainty that certain things had dairy or not. I figured what I usually get other places would be okay here.
Truly one of the warmest, most genuine places out there. The workers here are so kind and always make the tastiest Vietnamese treats! Here’s what I got! …
