The worst pharmacy. Rude and not knowledgeable as pharmacists when a medication can be refilled! In fact, Mindy is no longer there and would count days and if the system was wrong or she would run the script through insurance and if it went through and insurance filled it then she would fix it. As we know technology is not always right. Sheri is helpful and aware also to look at last fill date. But a new pharmacist named Sara is extremely unprofessional and rude. She won’t last long at this cvs and please report to the board if they are denying medication especially if you are a longtime patient who gets refills for years. Also file a complaint with the state through insurance or managed care plan and keep reporting. Stay away from this pharmacy. Long lines. Overturns and they treat the drs rude too and insurances who call on the patients behalf to EDUCATE. They should be aware of a patient bill of rights and see a lawsuit is coming based on prejudice and biasness. Mindy will be missed and I understand why she left. Over an hour waiting in line. Over a year of CVS system constantly getting my medication wrong and HIPPA violations which I reported to Mindy and she documented and reported as well. Corporate cvs called me last time along with an official from Alameda county as it’s considered unrighteous. It’s sad that patients complain in line how they’re mistreated if minority or in general. The pharmacy tech who’s at the front is so nice and has always helped me along with Sheri and another pharmacist who is aware the system only messed up on one of my meds and they know the protocol based on CA DEA and FDA guidelines you can pick up between 28 and 30 days. And it goes off of the previous pick up date. The first day of pick up COUNTS AS THE FIRST DAY. This will be going out of business next the pharmacy. Sarah, you are a new pharmacist and prejudice and thinking you can refuse a medication filled for years, prescribing dr and insurance called throughout the years to help and I’m aware the system in cvs changed last month but if you know how to count then you would use critical thinking vs what the system said since some months have 31 days and some months have 30 days. This is the ONLY cvs to give me issues the Washington cvs near downtown San Leandro and E14th NEVER gave me an issue and it’s here biasness is shown or maybe understanding state regulations also goes by insurance as well since if it was too soon then it wouldn’t be processed or the insurance wouldn’t call your line. People def need to complain more through insurance and to state board.

Thank you, Sonia, for NOT offering any help! It seems quite normal to run out of paper in print center. Also, it’s fine to redefine “same-day”, basically doing nothing but telling me it’s my fault for asking at the end of the day. It’s not a big deal, but I didn’t expect to be blamed. BTW other staff members are helpful and give some advice.

The pharmacy staff at the Greenhouse San Leandro location are very hard-working and professional. Sometimes there is a very long line, but the employees work very very hard to get the customers taken care of quickly! I have noticed that many of us who are waiting in line are senior citizens, and I can tell that the employees work very hard, and that they truly care about how long we are waiting in line. I know it is difficult to hire more staff, but it would be nice to get the employees some more help. Sherry and Mindy are exceptionally professional and helpful. I frequently call to check on prescriptions and they are very helpful which allows me to spend less time waiting in line as I am chronically ill. Thank you CVS San Leandro pharmacy staff for your hard work and dedication. Even when you are very very busy you still take the time to smile and be extra helpful! It is very refreshing to have found a pharmacy that treats you as a member of the community and not "just" a customer!

A one-hour wait for a ready prescription feels like a service failure. I’ve seen people waiting in line who are in pain, who are dizzy and sick from their chemotherapy - these are ppl who don’t need to be waiting an hour in addition to what they’re already going through. Staff the pharmacy better, CVS!! People above profit.

Came to this CVS store for the first time and was really surprised with the way Nelly (CSR) went the extra mile to help me. I will always be thankful for having her working at this store.
