About

CVS Pharmacy is listed on FindALoco in Berkeley, CA with address, phone, website, hours, and map location. Common services and related keywords include Pharmacy.

CVS Pharmacy is a pharmacy at 2655 Telegraph Ave in Berkeley, CA, positioned a few blocks from the UC Berkeley campus. For people who need a nearby place to manage routine prescription needs or arrange a vaccine visit, its Telegraph Avenue setting makes it a practical stop within the neighborhood. The location serves Berkeley residents, students, campus-area workers, and visitors looking for pharmacy services in 94704. Its role is straightforward: a local CVS Pharmacy where customers can come for prescription pickup and vaccination-related care. The surrounding area has been described by a customer as comfortable, while the store itself was noted as clean.

According to the listed hours, the pharmacy is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Because these are short, midday hours, checking the current schedule before traveling is a sensible step. Vaccinations are among the services mentioned by customers: one reviewer reported finding a same-day Monday vaccine appointment and described the visit as involving three vaccines with little wait; another said their vaccine experience was easy. These accounts reflect individual visits rather than a guarantee, but they suggest CVS Pharmacy can be relevant when Berkeley customers are seeking an appointment-based vaccination option.

Prescription service is also central to what customers come here for. Feedback points to both helpful interactions and occasional fulfillment concerns. A reviewer specifically praised pharmacy technician Anthony for being kind and helpful, and another described Diana as professional and sweet. At the same time, other customers reported being asked to return later for prescriptions, not receiving a requested readiness call, or needing to confirm insurance processing at pickup. That mixed feedback, alongside the 3.3 rating based on 50 reviews, makes it wise to allow time for pickups, confirm that a prescription is ready, and review the total and insurance details before paying. This is practical preparation, not a judgment on every visit.

Atmosphere-wise, the available reviews portray a clean store in a campus-adjacent Berkeley setting rather than a destination built around browsing. It may suit someone who values convenience near Telegraph Avenue--especially a UC Berkeley student, local resident, or worker with a scheduled vaccine appointment or prescription pickup to complete. Customers who prefer clear, person-to-person help may appreciate the positive staff interactions described in reviews, while those with time-sensitive medication needs may want to verify timing in advance. For a neighborhood pharmacy in Berkeley, California, CVS Pharmacy offers a familiar option for vaccine appointments and prescription-related needs, with the best experience likely coming from planning around its posted hours.

The lead technician was helpful but the lady behind the pickup counter was too busy joking around to check whether insurance had been applied to the prescription. Be careful and double-check before you pay anything. I kind of feel like you should do your job competently and then joke around but maybe that's just me

At about 4:15 pm on a Monday, I saw that there was a 5:30 pm appointment available to receive a vaccine. I snapped it up. A few blocks down from the UC Berkeley campus, I felt comfortable with the neighborhood. The store is clean, and I didn't have to wait very long. Three vaccines, and the deed was done. Happy with my experience.

Absolutely horrible experience. Every time I try to pick up a prescription here, they tell me that I need to come back after lunch or a few hours later. I ask them to give me a call when it's ready for pick up—they always confirm that they will but I never receive a call. My final straw was when I had to come FOUR separate times in a day just to pick up a prescription: every time they said they had to put in a new order because there hadn't been one made already, even though my CVS health app showed that the orders were "ready for pick up". Do yourself a favor and avoid this pharmacy at ALL COSTS.
