Customer feedback highlights several dishes for anyone deciding what to try. Reviewers have praised the green curry with tofu and Penang curry with tofu, and one described the green curry as a particularly enjoyable choice. The tom yum shrimp soup also stands out in the comments: a diner liked its balance of sweet and spicy flavors and ordered it at a Thai spice level. Noodles, including pad Thai, are another part of the menu guests mention. A reviewer found the noodles enjoyable and served hot and fresh, while noting that they could have had a little more flavor. These are personal opinions, but they offer concrete starting points for exploring the menu.
The service is another recurring positive in customer accounts. Some diners describe staff as helpful and attentive, with servers checking in during the meal to see whether guests are satisfied. Reviewers also mention an appealing-looking menu and food arriving hot and fresh. For someone seeking a casual Thai meal in New Orleans, those details may help set expectations: feedback points to attentive service and familiar Thai dishes, while individual experiences can naturally differ. If you enjoy curry, noodles, or soup, the comments provide a few options to consider when ordering.
Reviews are not uniformly positive, and that context matters. One customer felt a vegetable stir-fry had too much broth and considered the meal overpriced; another reported finding eggshells in a chicken pad Thai and raised the issue with staff. Other diners have described enjoyable meals and said they would return. Taken together, the feedback is mixed but includes specific praise for the curry, soup, noodles, and service, alongside concerns about particular dishes and value. Guests with questions about ingredients, preparation, spice, or current prices can ask the restaurant when ordering. Dahla is a local option for Thai food near O'Keefe Avenue, with customer reviews that can help guide a first visit without guaranteeing the same experience for everyone.

Tum Yum shrimp soup with thai level spice..the best I have ever had. Right mix of sweet and spice. Plz take the shrimp tails off though. Green curry v decent. Fried cheesecake v decadent, v delicious.
Very very good Thai restaurant in New Orleans! Some of the best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant in NOLA, servers were so helpful and checked on us many times making sure we were satisfied. The green curry with tofu was AMAZING! My roommate had the Penang curry with tofu and it was also really delicious! Good prices too in my opinion. I will definitely be back here!!!
I love Thai food, so I keep trying new places around NOLA. I order stir fried vegetable, but found the vegetable s floating in too much broth. The restaurant doesn’t offer a lunch menu, and it’s over priced, which is probably why there were no patrons. I’m spoiled from great Thai in my hometown. I’m just not returning to any of these overpriced and under delivered places. $31 for lunch.
Good place to get Thai food around New Orleans. Good service, good looking menu. The food came out hot and fresh, the noodles were pretty good, could be a tiny bit more flavorful, overall I recommend and will come back.
Went to this restaurant last night on 5/28/2026 at around 6:00 p.m. I’ve visited this establishment a few times before and enjoyed my experiences; however, last night was absolutely horrible. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and there were several egg shells inside of it. I notified my waitress and told her I didn’t want a new plate of it (since I was nervous about receiving a new plate of pad Thai with more egg shells). The Chef came out from the kitchen and as opposed to apologizing for giving me food unsafe for consumption, she said to me “you have a problem with the food?” I pointed to the eggshells and told her they were in my meal. I then told her I’d like the basil fried rice instead and she told me that she wouldn’t do that. She gave me an option of either taking the dish off my ticket or remaking it. Her demeanor was rude and she was very unapologetic about the fact that there were egg shells in my food. Very disappointed and disgusted.
