Stephanie took all the time to understand what I really want to do with my hair. She was kind, patient and very nice the whole time. The Salon is gorgeous, the vibe super relax and great that I really enjoy my time there. Stephanie changed my look 100% and yet I feel super happy with the final new version of me. It's not expensive at all and the location it's great. Church st. In Noe Valley.

Stacey did a fantastic job with my hair! He was very communicative, making sure I got the exact cut and style I wanted. Stacey was also a pleasure to chat with. I enjoyed the entire haircut experience with Stacey and would love to have him cut my hair again!

I highly recommend Damia Salon. My hair was getting too long so I went in for some shorter layers and Anthony did a great job. My cut is adorable and exactly what I wanted. They were able to schedule me the day after I called. From what I saw of the other clientele, this also seems to be a go-to salon for guys/gals with curly hair. I'll be back in a couple of weeks to get some color!

My first experience at Damia was a consultation with Courtney a week ago. I explained that I hated my hair color which had a light brown base with blonde highlights which had turned an unflattering yellow. Moreover, I was thinking about transitioning to gray hair—more in step with my age. Courtney made some suggestions and recommendations but unfortunately she was booked for the next month. After I explained that I couldn’t wait a month, she suggested that I make an appointment for a week thence with Rajah, “who is very good”, she said. Today was my big day and with some trepidation, after 12 years with the same hairdresser who had lately decided to do as he pleased regardless of my concerns, I went to see Rajah. While he had been briefed by Courtney, Rajah performed a miracle pulling out my grey into silver with a complimentary darker base on my neck. My hair is beautiful. He trimmed the back of it without cutting too much of my hair which is a much more flattering style. Thank you, Rajah. And thank you Courtney for referring me to him.

Simply stated, Courtney gets it right. She has years of experience, she is confident in her haircutting and color application. She will not disappoint! The salon is not pretentious nor are the clients. I've been a customer of Courtney's for over 10 years and she always does a great job with my hair.
