DaYung's Tea -Tempe is a cafe in Tempe, Arizona, at 3126 S Mill Ave, where tea and boba are the focus. Customers describe noticing the fresh tea aroma as soon as they walk in, and say the space is small and clean. The menu has an appealing range for different tastes: visitors mention milk tea, fruit-forward drinks, boba, and options served warm. Whether you already know your go-to order or are still figuring out what you like, it is a welcoming place to explore tea at your own pace. Its Tempe location makes it a convenient stop for people looking for a local tea cafe and boba drinks in the area.
A standout drink in customer comments is Pink Beauty, praised by one regular as refreshing and well balanced at 30% sugar. Orange Beauty gets a strong recommendation from a guest who prefers citrus-orange flavors. For a more classic tea profile, reviewers mention the oolong milk tea as a favorite, while milk tea with grass jelly is another order customers have tried. These details offer a useful starting point if you are choosing between fruit flavors, milk tea, or a drink with toppings. Sweetness preferences vary, and some customers say they would choose a different level next time, so consider what suits your taste when ordering.
Boba is another reason customers return. Reviewers call out the pearls’ chew and taste, describing them as smaller than those at some other shops and easy to sip through a wide straw. They also mention generous portions of boba and large drink sizes. When the weather turns cool, warm boba tea is an option that one customer enjoys just as much as a cold drink. The menu’s mix of tea styles and serving temperatures makes DaYung's Tea -Tempe a good fit for a casual drink break, a boba craving, or a visit with someone who prefers a different flavor profile.
Customer experiences are not identical: while many praise the drinks and friendly, knowledgeable service, one review notes that a tea seemed less aromatic and flavorful on a particular visit. That range of feedback gives a grounded picture of the cafe rather than a promise that every drink will suit every guest. DaYung's Tea -Tempe has a 4.7 rating from 567 reviews, and its compact, clean setting is described as an easy place to stop in. It is open Monday and Wednesday from 12:00 to 20:00, Thursday from 12:00 to 20:00, Friday and Saturday from 12:00 to 21:00, and Sunday from 12:00 to 20:00; it is closed Tuesday. Check the hours before visiting, then choose a familiar favorite or try a new tea and boba combination.

My favorite tea spot! You can smell the fresh tea as soon as you walk in. The place is small but always clean. My all-time favorite drink is the Pink Beauty with 30% sugar, it's perfectly balanced and refreshing. In the winter, I switch to their warm boba tea, which is just as good. The service is always great and fast. I highly recommend this awesome Taiwanese tea spot!
Love their boba! They have perfected the chew & taste. Individual pearls are smaller than other places and are easily slurped up the big straw without a struggle. Plentiful boba & large drink sizes! The oolong milk tea was tasty and the best drink we ordered. Next time I would order 50% sweet as I prefer mine less sweet. We also ordered the boba milk tea and pudding milk tea. The pudding was delicious but I had a hard time getting bits up my straw. Overall, clean dining area and efficient employees. Yum! I’ll definitely be back!
I really have no idea what to think of this place. I literally have no bearing or standard by which to measure whatever the heck this place is. It’s not a smoothie stand. It’s not a boba shop. It’s not a tea house. It’s somehow all of the above and yet none of them at the same time. As a noob, I had no idea how or what to order. Call me uncultured, that’s totally fine and probably accurate. I let my daughters order whatever sounded good to them, but I’m certain even they had no clue what they were doing (and they’re half Chinese). The menu was too busy and confusing for me to even bother to look at. The music was loud and obnoxious and belonged in a Scottsdale nightclub. I can’t say I had a good time, spending $15 on two drinks that my girls didn’t really enjoy. I just don’t get it, man.
Tea has become bland lately. I wonder if they reuse the old tea from the previous day. Yesterday, around 3 pm, I ordered milk tea with grass jelly. The tea lacked the aroma and strong flavor it used to have. I’ve been a loyal customer of …
Orange beauty is the only drink I’ve had so far and it’s fantastic. Specially for me who prefers citrus-orange flavors. The girl up front is very friendly and knowledgeable. Will continue to come back for sure 10/10
