DBS Pharmacy

DBS Pharmacy is a neighborhood pharmacy at 3735 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001, serving customers in Metairie, Louisiana. Its reviews describe a welcoming, conversational team and a pharmacist and staff who are knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and caring. Customers mention being able to ask for tips and recommendations, making DBS a potential fit for people who value a personal conversation when handling prescriptions rather than a quick, impersonal transaction. The pharmacy has a 4.8 rating from 61 reviews, though individual experiences and needs can vary.

Prescription service is the main offering described by customers. One practical feature is the drive-through, which reviewers say makes picking up prescriptions easier when a quick stop is important. Customers also praise staff for being helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Several reviewers say they moved their business from larger chain pharmacies and appreciate the service they receive at DBS. Those accounts point to a local pharmacy experience built around direct interaction and familiar, courteous assistance, rather than a particular specialty or service that the available information does not establish.

DBS Pharmacy is located on Airline Drive in Metairie. It is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; it is closed Sunday. These hours may be useful for people planning a weekday prescription pickup or a Saturday visit. Customers who rely on a drive-through can ask the pharmacy about pickup arrangements, and anyone with a specific prescription, timing, or coverage question should confirm details with the staff before making a trip.

Most of the feedback provided is strongly positive, with reviewers highlighting friendly service and their long-standing relationships with the pharmacy and its staff. There is also a less positive account from a customer who said they were asked to take their business elsewhere when they filled only some prescriptions at DBS and used mail order for others. That difference matters: if you plan to split prescriptions between pharmacies or use mail order, ask about the pharmacy’s policies in advance to make sure its approach works for you. For customers seeking a nearby Metairie pharmacy with a drive-through and approachable staff, DBS Pharmacy is a local option to consider.
