Sign in to reviewI am beyond thrilled to have discovered Deluxe Bakery, a hidden gem in My Hoa shopping plaza! I rarely visit this area, but my Cantonese friend recommended this bakery, and it was absolutely worth the trip. Hands down, they have the best wife cookie in town! For those unfamiliar, the wife cookie is a traditional Cantonese treat, and Deluxe Bakery’s version is exceptional. The filling is perfectly sweet with a silky, chewy texture—not just a simple sugary flavor. It reminds me of a honey block but without being overly sweet. It’s a beautiful balance of authenticity and indulgence. Another standout here is their massive buns, which are a fusion of authentic Cantonese or Vietnamese styles. They’re packed with meat, vegetables, sausage, and eggs, making each bite so flavorful and satisfying. The variety is impressive, and these buns are so filling that just a couple could make a meal. I haven’t tried everything they offer yet, but the owner’s hospitality made the experience even better. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and happy to explain how they make their cookies and other items. Her modesty and warmth added a personal touch to the visit. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their specialties. Deluxe Bakery is highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic and delicious baked goods!
Workers are nice , cheap prices. A beautiful Cantonese bakery in Little Saigon ( Vietnam town) . Bao so delicious
The items we bought here were well liked. The folks in the store there were quite helpful in finding the right products given some of the restrictions we mentioned to them.
I go for the Egg Tarts! They are perfect. The crust is flakey and when they are warm out of the oven, it is such a wonderful taste experience. They have a nice variety of other pastries and breads. I love the bread that is shaped like a hot dog bun. I toast them and have them with eggs. They also have deals on dumplings. There is a tiny sign posted in front of the cash register.
First time walkin here and I was impressed. Friendly service with smile and fresh bakeries. My new fav bakery place in China town. Love it.
