Sign in to reviewFor real, the best foot massage I have ever had. I did the 60 minute and it was perfect! And really affordable. I will definitely be back.
It was painful. I asked for less pressure, said ouch many times, and it continued to be painful. I was wincing and made grimacing faces and expressed pain verbally. I am glad I only committed to the 30 minute. Perhaps the reflexologist doesn’t realize his strength? I don’t know if he understood me, because when I tipped 2, he asked for 5 more. I am in pain. It ended with yanking on my feet which I felt all the way up in my lower back. Added stars for cleanliness, but probably wouldn’t return.
Important to know that mask are required. My experience at Deluxe Foot Massage was very positive and i will be returning. The prices for a 45 minutes foot and body massage cost me $55.00 and this included $15.00 tip. I enjoyed the approach to my session. First, foot soak with head and neck massage. Second, dry foot then massage to foot and legs. Third was a welcomed body massage. The Fourth and final body area was the rear neck, back, and lower torso. I Loved the entire treatment and ambiance.
This was a massage I have never experienced before. I have been to many a "happy feet" and "foot massage" places but this one was by far the worst. I paid for a 90 minute full body massage. First of all. They cover you with a blanket with no sheet. That should have been my first clue. The massage starts and most of the massage is over the blanket. I get it, a warm up, not entirely odd. The male massage therapist probably did 30 minutes on my back and legs over the blanket. That is a bit strange. Then he pulls back the blanket really fast and his draping was not good. I was exposed a lot. Then lotion and a quick back massage. Then back to over the blanket. I don't think many people who are getting a massage in a private room, expect to get the majority of their massage over a blanket. He used his elbow and forearm most of the time and he didn't really do fluid strokes, just a lot of squeezing and up and down with no fluidity at all and violent pushing my joints back and forth. He was getting frustrated that I was asking him to go lighter and huffing and puffing about it. Sorry, dude, I can take pressure but he was way too aggressive. I had to tell him at least 10x that he was going way too hard. So hard that I had back cramps on each side from clenching my body to absorb the extreme pressure. I then just started saying "ouch" which then he would giggle and go a bit lighter for a bit but then back to elbows in very sensitive areas with no precision. I spent the whole 90 minutes on my belly. I never was told to turn over. I have never had a massage where I lay in one position for 90 minutes. Also, when he took my legs and bent them, I was totally exposed. He is a male massage therapist. Normally, they are very good at making you feel comfortable. He did not. I was ready to ask for the whole thing to be stopped but then he did the patting down at the end (really hard) so I was thankful it was over. I am even questioning whether he was a licensed massage therapist at this point. Oh, and to top it off, someone passed gas (I think it was him) so I got to smell that on my way out. Not a good experience at all.
Great value! Best foot massage I’ve had. The appropriate pressure in all the right spots. I highly recommend the 70 min combo that includes a 30min back massage for $65. I had the gentleman Wu; he truly understands the body. I’ll be going on a regular basis. The place could use a freshening up but the value is worth it.
