Please do thorough research before seeing Dr. Niderman. I came to Dr. Niderman with a broken front crown. He convinced me of veneers on surrounding teeth to improve my smile. I asked very specifically how much tooth he would remove, I made sure to ask if he would be removing a significant amount of healthy tooth. He reassured me that he would not, that he only needed to remove a little for veneers. He then did the exact opposite of what he said. He shaved my teeth down significantly which ended up needing a full set of crowns, not the veneers that were discussed. This is only a small part of my complaints about him. Make sure you do your research, I do NOT trust this man. Also, check out his license number before booking with him. He has previous board complaints as well that resulted in him having a probation for three years. Update to response: The video shown was for veneers, not crowns. I stand by my review that this dentist said and described one procedure and then gave me something different. The paperwork said crowns and veneers. The paperwork said “will not cement until size, shape, and color are approved”. He cemented despite my disapproval breaching his own contract. I was not happy, almost in tears. He told me I should put some lipstick on and it might make me feel better. I canceled all future appointments. I now have to spend a significant amount to get corrective treatment elsewhere. My request for a refund was not due to a simple misunderstanding, it was due to misrepresentation of treatment (veneers vs. full crowns), lack of informed consent, excessive removal of healthy tooth structure, poor aesthetic and functional outcome, and disregard of patient objections during and after treatment. This dentist has also publicly posted private health information online and then later changed his response to a response which still violates HIPPA. I do not believe he is trustworthy.

I've been Dr. Niderman's patient for 20 years. All throughout these years I received an exceptional level of care. He and his office are very professional, respond to phone calls, provide appointment reminders. The office is equipped with modern technology. Dr. Niderman is on top of all new developments in the dental industry and implements them in his practice. His rapport with patients is very professional as well. My last crown work was done impeccably. It fit immediately, without any adjustment. I was very impressed. Overall, I am pleased with Dr. Niderman's work and will continue seeing him, though I'm not living in San Francisco any longer.

Dr. Niderman and staff are great. Dr. Niderman is up to date on all the latest techniques and is an excellent dentist. He has been my dentist for over 15 years. I would highly recommend Dental Care SF.

He is not just an amazing dentist, but a good person overall. He took his time to explain to me, why he was extracting my tooth. It helped me relax when he did it.
