Rice rolls are a popular reason to visit. Customers mention steamed rice noodles and peanut rice roll noodles, including a low-cost serving that one reviewer bought for $3.50. Dumplings are another appealing choice: one customer paired five large dumplings, priced at $5 in their review, with rice rolls for a satisfying lunch. These customer favorites suit a quick meal or an easy takeaway, and reviews repeatedly note that even smaller portions can be generous. If you are comparing affordable lunch options in Boston, the combination of rice rolls, dumplings, and substantial servings makes Ding Ho worth considering.

Customers mention that there is nowhere to sit inside, so plan to take your food with you and find another place to eat. That makes Ding Ho especially suited to a lunch break, an errand through the neighborhood, or a stop when you want food to go. It is a straightforward choice for people who value convenience and a filling portion over table service or a long dining experience.
Ding Ho is open daily, Monday through Sunday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., making it an option for breakfast-time visits as well as lunch and early afternoon pickup. Bring cash: reviewers specifically note that the shop is cash-only, so a card may not be accepted. Prices and menu availability can change, so check at the shop when ordering. For an affordable Chinatown-area stop in Boston, Ding Ho offers well-liked rice rolls, dumplings, and generous portions in a small, casual setting. If you are after a quick takeaway and a budget-conscious meal, it may be a good fit; just plan for cash and no indoor seating.

Cash only. Fast in and out. Cheap. Best spot if you’re on a budget. Everything looked great but we kept it low cost and got a peanut rice roll noodle for $3.50 Nowhere to sit here so we went back to where the Chinese gate is at the main entrance to China town and ate next to the fountain.
I went here for the rice rolls for $3.50, and also got five large dumplings for five dollars and a Diet Coke, costing me only $10 for delicious lunch in Boston. It is a tiny shop, but clean, bright and smell smells delicious. Everything …
Hole in the wall place, good for just picking something up. It’s cash only! Had the steamed rice noodles which were delicious. The small size portion size is very generous as well
A generous portion for only 7 dollars and it was delicious. I was able to have it for lunch and the rest for dinner as well. I highly recommend getting a meal from here.
This place is the best. I come here pretty regularly. Best bang for your buck for a quick lunch in the area.
