Dr. Doan Nguyen MD

Bad doctor. I had surgery with dr Nguyen and after the surgery he did not speak with me about the surgery at all. I came to his office 2 weeks later and all he did was complain about me not having insurance. He took my staples out and left the room. He didn’t ask about my pain or any medicine or when I can work again. He only came in to ask about my insurance and left. Horrible experience. It is clear to me he only treats his patients properly when they are insured. If not he brushes you off and ignores all post surgery treatment.

What a mistake I've made to go to this place prior to checking the reviews. I was in pain so I just went with my insurance recommendations. Absolutely horrible, do yourself a favor and find another doctor. I don't know how he's a board certified. Horrible bad manners, doesn't listen to what you have to say, even refused to get my records transferred to his practice. My pain scale was at 10 and he sent me back home recommending a heat pad. He then wanted to schedule a follow up appointment in 8 weeks. Come on doc, a heat pad won't heal my symptoms that looked more like a pinched nerve or worse. You will not see me again and please fix your professional attitude. .

I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Doan Nguyen. His bedside manner was extremely poor — he didn’t pay attention to what I was saying, seemed completely dismissive of my concerns, and made me feel rushed and unheard. It’s frustrating to trust a doctor with your health and walk away feeling ignored. I would strongly recommend going to someone who actually listens and cares about their patients. Save yourself the stress and run the other way from this doctor.

***FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD.***I WENT TO THIS PROVIDER ON OR AROUND 1/29/26 FOR A FOOX FRACTURE. i CALLED PRIOR TO MAKING MY APPOINTMENT TO MAKE SURE THEY TOOK BCBC TEXAS AND THEY TOLD ME YES SO I PROCCEDED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. ON THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT I WAS PREPARED TO PAY THE SPECIALTY COPAY OF $45.00. AT THIS POINT THE OFFICE STAFF I BELIEVE THE NURSE TOLD ME IT WAS $250.00 EVEN. I PROCCED TO ASK THEM WHY WAS I PAYING $250.00 WHEN THE COPAY FOR A SPECIALIST IS $45.00? SHE TOLD ME SINCE ITS A FRACTURE THATS WHAT THE AMOUNT WILL BE AND ONCE ITS PROSSEDED THROUGH THE INSURANCE IT WILL BE APPLIED TO THE BALANCE. I KNEW AT THIS TIME THEY HAD A BILLING SCAM GOING ON. THE DOCTOR WAS IN HURRY TO SEE ME BEACUSE HE WAS GOING TO PERFORM A SURGERY SO THEY TOLD ME, AND I SHOULD HAVE KNOW BETTER AT THAT POINT BUT I WAS IN ALOT OF PAIN AND JUST PAID IT SO I COULD GET SOME MEDICATION FOR PAIN RELIEVE, I WAS PRESCRIBED DECLOFENAC. FAST FORWARD UNITL TODAY AND NO CLAIM HAD BEEN SUBMITTED BY THEM IN MY BEHALF AND I WOULD LIKE MY MONEY BACK. I HOPE BCBS CAN HELP ME AND GET ME A REFUND ONCE THEY PROCEESS THIS CLAIM. THEY ARE FALSLY CLAIMING TO TAKE THE INSURE AND MAKE YOU BELIEVE THEY GOING TO PROCESS IT THAN MAKE YOU PAY OUT OF POCKET AND KEEP ALL THAT MONEY BECAUSE THEY KNOW IF THEY PROCESS IT THROUGH YOU GUYS THEY WILL LOOSE MONEY BEAUSE OF THE CONTRACTED ARE WITH THE PROVIDER AND BCBS. I HAVE CALLED THEM MULTIPLE TIMES AND NO RESOLUTION TO MY ISSUE HAS BEEN MADE. I HOPE TO HEAR FROM SOMEONE FROM BSBC TO TRY AND HELP ME OUT. THANK YOU. ***FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD***
