I need to say the food and drinks on point! The person that helped us was ready and kind at all times. I didn’t take pic of all the items we ate but I must say the baguette is one of the softest I’ve ever had! Number 1 in my book. We ended up getting a baguette with mixed greens and ham. A panini and the almond croissant! The croissant gets a WOW FACTOR!
I travel the world routinely, but this is my favorite place near home. They have amazing, Italian-quality cappuccino, great turkey panini, and french-quality baked goods. I often order a cappuccino, caprese panino, and an almond croissant. All three make for a very relaxed lunch. If you like traditional European quality coffee, come here. Seriously, I could eat here every week. I also have to add some more. I've now tried there Dubai chocolate and strawberry cream croissants. They are just heavenly. For cornetti or brioche, this is still definitely the best place in town and probably for many cities. Hidden gem 100%. Per miei amici italiani: vengono qui per il migliore cibi nel Garden Geove.
The Caneles in this place is 🔥. The service is a little long because it’s just one person but it’s fine they make sure my Caneles are hot!!! Plenty of seating. Plenty of parking across the street also.
This is the kind of place where the food is so good that all other tiny issues do not matter. They sell a variety of things, like French pastries, and some Vietnamese dishes, and some random Japanese and deli sandwiches, so the identity/cuisine/vibe is very confused lol. BUT whatever they sell, it's so on point. Love that food quality first principle! Will always come back here whenever I visit OC.
