The shop has a thoughtful selection of products that goes beyond the usual pharmacy basics and everything is well organized and easy to find. I always feel genuinely looked after here which is something that is hard to find nowadays. I highly recommend East Austin Medicine Shop. Erin and Chris are fantastic pharmacists who really take the time to go over your medications with you. They are clearly focused on overall wellness rather than just filling regular prescriptions, and they are very knowledgeable about peptides and compounded medications. Chris also makes it incredibly easy to communicate via email, which I really appreciate. Trish, the technician, is also great to work with and does an excellent job navigating the insurance company side. The shop does a lot to help the local community, and it is very efficient with vaccinations. It feels much better to support a local business like this than a huge corporate pharmacy. If you want a place that is knowledgeable, helpful, and provides personalized care, this is the spot.

East Austin was the only pharmacy I could find in town that would help me when I was having a bad reaction to a certain manufacturer and needed a different brand. They noted in my chart not to fill the bad brand and it hasn’t been an issue since. They are easy to work with, knowledgeable and are overall a very high quality pharmacy. Especially if you need a special request.
