About

Eat-Well Food Mart is listed on FindALoco in New Orleans, LA with address, phone, website, hours, and map location. Common services and related keywords include Vietnamese Restaurant.

Eat-Well Food Mart is a Vietnamese restaurant at 2700 Canal St in New Orleans, Louisiana, with a small restaurant counter inside a convenience store. It is a casual, practical stop rather than a full-service dining room: customers order at the counter in the back of the market, and the setting is simple. Knowing that setup before you arrive can help set expectations. For diners searching for Vietnamese food in New Orleans, Eat-Well offers an unassuming place to pick up a meal while visiting a neighborhood market.

Customer feedback points to food that can be a pleasant surprise. Reviewers describe meals as fresh and flavorful, and one says the cooking tastes made with care. The available information does not identify specific Vietnamese dishes or a set of signature items, so it is best to check the current options at the counter rather than expect a particular menu. A reviewer also mentions good fried chicken, but that comment does not establish it as a regular specialty. The most consistent draw in the reviews is the quality and flavor of the food, especially given the straightforward convenience-store setting.

The atmosphere and service are not described as polished or consistently warm. Some customers praise friendly people and food they enjoyed, while others report poor service or an uncomfortable interaction. These differing experiences are worth keeping in mind; the reviews do not support a promise of a particular service experience. What they do suggest is a useful choice for people who prioritize a tasty, reasonably priced meal over formal surroundings. It may suit a quick lunch, a casual bite, or someone curious to try a Vietnamese food counter they might otherwise overlook. Keep expectations focused on the food and the informal setup.

À service counter in the back of a quick Mart. Several options available but this is not a full service restaurant so set your expectation. …

Over the years I've had some surprisingly good food at the most unlikely of places, like great Fried Chicken at a gas station. So I decided to try this place called Eat Well which is actually a convenience store with a small Vietnamese restaurant inside of it located what in what would basically be called The Hood. I ordered the basics which included Pho Tai and spring rolls. The broth was weak and watered down. Nothing really tastes very fresh. And the prices are about what you would pay in a typical restaurant for Quality that is a bit less. The ambience is definitely what you might expect in this area of town. I was a four-day nice view of an immigrant continually buying scratch offs and losing and buying more the entire time I was there I hope he wins something cuz he sure was trying. Well I can mark this place off my list I probably won't be going back. Nice people but nothing special and the reviews I think are way overrated

The people were friendly and their food shows they put love into it, so fresh and flavorful I haven't had Vietnamese food this good in about 10 years. Don't let the look of the place fool you, it is absolutely worth eating here.

Atmosphere and service are poor but they do have Great prices and the food is quite good, unless they decide for no apparent reason not to like you.

They treat their black customers way different than the white customers. The younger Vietnamese lady had a frown and was mean with me while I order my meal. She barely talked nor she even smile. Until a white man walked in to order, she leaped up with all the politeness and smiles in the world to make him feel comfortable and wanted at their business. My meal was very lukewarm and flavorless. I will never come back here again... I will just stick to going to Whole Foods.
