What people mention again and again is the freshness. Customers describe the morning smell as incredible, and several reviews focus on bread that is warm, soft, and enjoyable right out of the bakery. The conchas are especially popular, with regulars praising their soft texture and saying they keep coming back for them. Pan dulce is clearly one of the main reasons people visit, and the feedback points to a bakery that does the basics very well: fresh baking, good texture, and products that taste like they were made for the day, not left sitting around. For holiday traditions, the rosca de reyes also gets special attention, with customers calling it warm and delicious.
Beyond sweet bread, Eliana's Bakery also seems to be a convenient stop for simple comforting items that fit naturally into the morning or afternoon. Reviewers note that the bakery opens early and offers coffee along with daily-made avena con leche, making it useful for people who want a quick breakfast or something warm to go with fresh bread. A pineapple cake was also singled out as moist and delicious, showing that the selection goes beyond standard pan dulce. Even when a shopper came in looking for wedding cookies and did not find them, the softness and quality of the other baked goods still made a lasting impression.
The atmosphere customers describe is not flashy; it feels more like a reliable local panadería where freshness and service matter most. Reviews mention great customer service, and one customer even noted that the bread stayed soft for at least two days when stored in a ziplock bag, which speaks to quality in a very practical way. Another helpful detail for local visitors is that cards are accepted on purchases of $5 or more without added fees, which adds convenience for everyday stops.
For people looking for a trusted bakery in Santa Ana, California, Eliana's Bakery is a strong option for fresh conchas, pan dulce, rosca de reyes during the season, coffee, and avena con leche. It is especially well suited for nearby families, early risers, and anyone who appreciates warm bread and familiar flavors in a straightforward local setting. This Panadería is open early and not only do they have freshly baked bread. They have coffee and daily made avena con leche. Cards are accepted with no additional fees on purchases of $5 or more.
Stumbled upon this bakery last week because I was looking for wedding cookies! They didn't have wedding cookies but they had the most SOFTEST pan dulce I've ever eaten before. I also tried their dense pineapple cake which was so moist and delicious; I absolutely had to save this place to my favorite on my maps. They're also open late which I really appreciate!!! The 2 young women I met each time I've been here are warm and welcoming. Prices are fair and I hope they keep it that way too since times are tough lately. I bought 3 pan dulce and 1 piece of cake for $4.25. Definitely a treat! 5 out of 5 would recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
