About

Eur-Asia Auto Body is listed on FindALoco in San Francisco, CA with address, phone, and map location. Common services and related keywords include Auto Repair Shop.

Eur-Asia Auto Body is an auto repair shop located on Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco, CA, serving drivers in San Francisco and the broader Bay Area. When people search for an auto body or collision-related service in San Francisco, location and firsthand customer experience matter, especially after a stressful accident. Based at 2020 Van Ness Ave, this shop is part of the local auto repair landscape in San Francisco and may come up for motorists comparing body shops, towing-related situations, and post-accident vehicle handling in the city.

As an auto repair shop listing in San Francisco, Eur-Asia Auto Body appears connected in customer accounts to collision and towing situations rather than routine maintenance. The available review feedback does not provide clear details about specific repair specialties, turnaround times, or pricing structure for standard body work. Instead, the reviews focus heavily on what customers describe as difficult experiences surrounding accident scenes, towing, storage, and vehicle release. For anyone researching this business, that pattern is important context when weighing options and deciding what questions to ask in advance.

Customer sentiment in the current public reviews is notably negative, with a 2.4 rating from 14 reviews. Several reviewers describe situations in which a tow truck allegedly appeared before an expected insurance or AAA tow, then transported the vehicle to Eur-Asia Auto Body without what the customers say was clear knowledge or consent. Other reviews mention disputes over storage charges, release of vehicles, and communication during an already stressful insurance process. Because these concerns appear repeatedly, potential customers looking for an auto repair shop in San Francisco may want to confirm tow authorization, repair approval, storage policies, and insurer coordination in writing before proceeding.

For local SEO and practical decision-making, the clearest takeaway is that Eur-Asia Auto Body is a San Francisco body shop that prospective customers should research carefully. If you are comparing repair shops in San Francisco, especially after a collision, it may be helpful to ask who ordered the tow, where the vehicle will be stored, what fees may apply, and how release procedures work with your insurer. That kind of clarity can matter as much as the repair itself when choosing an auto repair shop in San Francisco, CA.

Overall, Eur-Asia Auto Body is a known San Francisco auto repair business with a central city address, but the publicly available reviews point more to customer-service and towing-related concerns than to positive descriptions of workmanship or atmosphere. For drivers seeking a trustworthy repair experience in San Francisco, the most useful approach is to verify every step, keep documentation, and compare this shop with other local options that match your needs and comfort level.

How my car ended up at this place after I got into a car accident, I have no idea. My accident happened in Oakland but somehow managed to end up at this scammed place without my knowledge or consent. Whoever they are working with conspired together to "help" vulnerable people that are in dire need of help. The guy came super first after my accident happened, even faster than the ambulance and other authorities. Claimed that my car's dealership has sent them which is an absolute lie because I called back to check with dealer and they said they would not do anything without my consent or permission, and when the accident happened I DID NOT CALL for anyone at all. But this tow truck happens to conveniently show up just when I need it the most, so I took his word for it even though it didn't seem right. However when I asked later where he's going to take my car , he never said to SF or Eur-Asia Auto body but said back to my dealership and that they will contact me. I was not given a single piece of information where my car will be going and I wasn't in the right mental state to care at the moment, so I just let them take my car and hoped for the best. The very next day this place called me informing me they have my car and wanted my insurance info. My car was crashed pretty badly and my insurance wasn't going to cover it so I asked how much to junk it and JENNY , the receptionists said just pay $480 for the tow bill, give them the car title and they will be take care of the car for me. Then when I later decided to take the car back, she said oh then we will have to charge storage fees which I was okay with, and so I signed the release form for my vehicle and when I got the invoice it was a total of $2135 with a bunch of fees of it that I had no prior knowledge of. And of course they won't let my car go unless we paid the bill. Needless to say I fell victim and can't believe things like this really happen. I'm currently seeking legal assistance . Hope we can come to a resolution soon.

zero stars. Our legally parked car was involved in a hit-and-run, and before the insurance-dispatched tow truck arrived, a random towing truck showed up unannounced, falsely claiming to be from our insurance. They towed our car and dropped it off at EUR-ASIA Autobody, who later demanded a $10,000 storage fee for a car we didn’t authorize them to take. We reported the car as stolen to the police and our insurance. After a lot of back-and-forth, and with the help of the SFPD Tow Car Permit Division and other local authorities, our car was eventually returned. If you find yourself in a similar situation, I highly recommend contacting the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) and the SFPD Tow Car Permit Division. This place has multiple complaints online for similar predatory behavior—please be cautious and stay informed.

Place is a scam!!! They drive around the Bay Area, looking for fresh accidents that just occurred. I was involved in an accident that totaled my car, and I called AAA to have them tow my car. This tow truck picked me up, lied to my face saying they were AAA, then suggested I take my car to Eur-Asia for “after hours” storage. After I get home, AAA calls me and asks where I am. Next day, I’m calling to see what the estimate will be, and they refuse to provide an estimate until two weeks later. Long story short, it took over a month, legal threats, and a whole lot of back and forth BS before I got my car back. This place is genuinely the worst- can’t believe they’re still in business. If you’ve fell victim to one of their tow truck actors, inform your insurance company ASAP, file a police report, and get your car out of there immediately!

SCAM! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They show up in Oakland looking for recent accidents before firetrucks or police officers. They claim the car reported the accident and pretend to talk to your insurance and tow it to their yard in SF. They then refuse to release your car to your insurance company without charging them an insane amount of money, $5k! They are a PREDATORY business. If GD towing shows up at your accident call the police on them and report them immediately. Don’t let them take your car. If you’re in the unfortunate situation where they tow your car here, we showed up with SFPD to request all the documentation for the tow and hold of our car. You’ll end up wasting many hours of your day with unreasonable people who are running a sham unlicensed auto “shop” where cars are held and no work is being performed. The SFPD has been to this business many times over the years for this exact situation and further investigation is underway. We reluctantly negotiated the punitive, one could say extortion, fee down by half (which was only payable via cash or cashiers check) but was still wildly unreasonable, we will be pursuing further action. As other reviewers commented, contact BAR, SFPD Tow car permit division, and Department of Insurance.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! 1 star is generous, this was an absolutely horrible experience. They are opportunists- even if no one calls a tow, the truck drivers listen to the police scanners and then magically show up to “poach” your vehicle when you need it most and then take it to this shop for a payout. Consequently, the shop charges you, the consumer, an exorbitant amount of money for their “services” even without your permission for said services. The manager will cut you off on the phone if you complain and refuse to talk to you further. The “garage” is completely FULL of cars that have long since been abandoned, covered in dust and left to be forgotten. The staff is nice enough, but you can tell they are just doing their jobs and maybe aren’t aware of the true nature of what is going on. The SFPD has been called multiple times about this place. Avoid this place at all costs, and if you do get your car stolen by this shop, prepare to do battle and call your insurance and talk the police immediately.
