EuroBakery is a European restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona, at 15440 N 35th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85053. It is a neighborhood stop for European and Balkan-inspired food, including house-made Romanian mici, evapi, soft lepina bread, cheese-filled pastries, and baklava. Customer reviews describe food that is fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care, alongside friendly hospitality from owners who take time to explain the available options. With a 4.7-star rating from 103 reviews, EuroBakery has earned a loyal following among local diners and visitors looking for distinctive European flavors in Phoenix.

The mici and evapi are among the standout choices mentioned by customers. Reviewers praise EuroBakery’s Romanian mici, made in-house with all beef, and describe them as fresh and tasty. The evapi are also a favorite, with diners highlighting their authentic flavor and the soft, moist lepina served alongside them. One customer describes the bread as not greasy, while another compares the taste favorably with food from back home. A mici and bread plate is listed at $14 in a customer review. If these Balkan specialties are what you have in mind, calling ahead to place an order is an option mentioned by customers.

For something sweet or savory, EuroBakery also serves cheese-filled pastries and baklava. Visitors describe the pastries as delicious and made with care; one long-time customer calls the baklava and pastries crisp, buttery, and full of flavor. The reviews suggest a compact selection rather than a sprawling menu, so this can be a good place to focus on a few specific European bakery and prepared-food favorites. Customers also mention a limited selection of grocery items, useful to know if you are hoping to browse for specialty provisions as well as order food.

The hospitality is part of what brings people back. Customers describe the owners as kind, welcoming, and helpful when walking them through the choices, and repeat visitors say they have been coming for years. That combination of personal service and food with a clear Balkan and European character makes EuroBakery a fit for diners seeking a casual, friendly place for a pastry, a shared meal, or a take-home order. It may also suit anyone curious to try mici or evapi prepared in a style that customers say feels familiar and authentic.

EuroBakery is open Wednesday through Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and closed Monday and Tuesday. Its daytime schedule makes it a useful option for breakfast, lunch, or an early-afternoon bakery stop in north Phoenix. Find it at 15440 N 35th Ave, Phoenix, Arizona 85053. Whether you are visiting for the house-made mici, evapi with lepina, a cheese-filled pastry, or baklava, the reviews point to a small local business where friendly attention and carefully made food are central to the experience.

Truly a gem of a business. I went in yesterday and ordered two of their cheese-filled pastries. The food itself was delicious and clearly made with care. The hospitality I experienced was above and beyond. The owners were incredibly kind, walking me through all of their options and even offered me a yogurt drink to pair with my food. I could not have higher praise.

We’ve been coming to European Bakery for years, and it’s truly one of our favorite places. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made with such care. Their pastries and baklava are absolutely delicious! Perfectly crisp, buttery, and full of flavor every single time. The service is just as wonderful as the food. Every visit, we’re greeted with kindness and made to feel right at home. This place is a true hidden gem, and we’re so grateful to have a place like this in the community. Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic, high-quality baked goods and warm hospitality!

We tried all the Ćevapi from Balkan countries restaurants in Phoenix. EuroBakery was the best hands down, nothing else comes even close. Lepina (Pita Bread) is moist and soft, not greasy. Ćevapi Authentic taste, and on point just like back home great job guys. Other restaurants tasted like home style Cevapi that grandpa cooks at home!

Lovely new owners! Very kind and friendly. The food is so good. They make the "romanian mici" in the house, all beef. Fresh and very tasty.
