Fresh meat stands out in customer feedback. Shoppers mention finding the meat they are looking for, as well as good meat specials, making Evergreen Supermarket a useful stop for people planning meals around meat or looking for current offers. Reviews also point to friendly interactions with the owners and employees. Those practical details matter when choosing a neighborhood grocery store: customers want products they can use, service that feels welcoming, and a store that fits the timing of a busy day.

Evergreen's reported all-day, every-day schedule can be particularly helpful for households with different work hours, last-minute meal plans, or a need to shop outside a typical retail schedule. One reviewer says they make the drive from nearby Harvey because the store is reliable, the staff is friendly, and the meat selection meets their needs. That account suggests Evergreen may be worth considering not only for nearby residents, but also for shoppers willing to travel when dependable hours and a particular grocery item matter.

For the most accurate information about current products, specials, and available options, visiting the store in person is a sensible choice. A customer review specifically cautions that online menu or deal information may not match what is actually available in the store, and mentions making a long trip before discovering a different selection. Checking in person can help set clear expectations before planning a larger shop. The reviews also contain comments about unrelated merchandise and services, so shoppers should confirm details directly rather than assume every item mentioned online is part of the grocery offering.

Located on Sandra Drive in New Orleans, Evergreen Supermarket is a straightforward option for grocery shopping, especially for customers who value fresh meat, meat specials, friendly service, and round-the-clock access. Whether you are stopping in for a planned purchase or shopping at an unconventional hour, the customer feedback points to reliability as one of the store's strongest advantages. For current selection and offers, use the store visit as your source of truth and ask staff about what is available that day.
