Farmers Insurance - David Oppat

David at Farmers Insurance has been outstanding to work with for my bundled insurance policies. His quick response, takes time to analyze my home and auto needs to tailor coverage rather than offering a one-size-fits-all policy— generous multi-policy discounts resulting in significant savings. He gave clear explanations about my homeowners coverage line by line, including how my valuables are protected, and corrected several assumptions I had about the coverage. The Farmers Mobile App is also a huge plus—it's intuitive, convenient, and much easier to use than the apps from the other insurance companies I've had. I highly recommend David and his team for personalized coverage and of course the stellar service!

HORRIBLE AND INCOMPETENT SERVICE!!! SHOP AROUND for BETTER RATE AND AN AGENT THAT ACTUALLY DOES THEIR JOB!!! I had lost my card that was attached to my auto renewal, but did not get renewal documents as you should ahead of time to review renewal changes and rates. I received a letter for NON-Payment of Premium by mail. I called David's office immediately. Nicole Whitney answered for David and I was told that the reinstatement was going to be $156 dollars more this included a $25 fee for non-payment. I asked why the increase and was told “All company's were raising rates in Oregon” and that it was nothing I had done. I asked Nicole to see about waiving $25 fee and asked to speak to David, but was told he was unavailable. I called back and again asked for David, and was told “he had just stepped out”. I was told that $25 fee was going to be waived and there was nothing they could do about the rate increase. I told Nicole that I would pay the amount for now, but would be shopping for other insurance if David couldn't do something about increase and asked her again to have him call me when he was available. Nicole then told me it would be “two days” before I would have insurance again??? I asked her to send me new policy documents via email and she said she would. 13 days later I followed up with David's office on not getting my policy docs. She said she was waiting for confirmation from me on what I wanted to do??? I told her that was incorrect and that I already gave her new card number and asked for her to email me new policy docs 13 days ago. I asked if David was available and she said he wasn't. I told her to have him call me asap. Shortly after that day I received policy documents from Nicole for someone else's policy! Nicole sent me another email that she had made 3 different transactions for my policy using my card info that I gave her on 13 days ago, with multiple transactions, transaction timing and a total that were not what was never agreed on. When I emailed to inquire about payments not equaling up, she replied “that the returned payment fee was refunded, but not the cancellation fee.. Nicole added in her email that “David had to leave early to do track coaching but would follow up with me tomorrow. David never reached out the next day.

I got my former insurance agent covered for my home. RC Moreau is on TOP of things, always makes sure that I got a good coverage, at decent rates. It is VERY rare to see this kind of dedication, put client's need on top of his reward. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED to work with Mr. MOREAU for your insurance need(s). ANDREW PHAN.
