Sign in to reviewFirst time at this location. I got their taro dirty milk tea and it was yummy. I really enjoyed the sweetness at 75% with the cheese foam. My bf got the strawberry breeze and my dad got the blended taro which they both enjoyed.
I gave this place a second chance today and unfortunately left disappointed again. I purchased four drinks, and all four were disappointing. I don’t blame the employee working. In fact, the employee looked visibly stressed and appeared to be doing their best under difficult circumstances. The bigger issue seems to be management and overall operations. While waiting for our drinks, I noticed several red flags that raised concerns about quality, drink preparation, and food handling standards. It seemed clear that inadequate staffing was affecting both service and the quality of what customers were receiving. There were also operational problems during our visit. The lid sealing machine was not working properly, and the employee was unable to provide us with proper lids. What stood out most was that no manager appeared to be on duty to assist or help resolve the situation. This was especially frustrating because during a previous visit, there was also no manager available to assist with a refund issue. At this point, the recurring lack of management presence and support has become hard to ignore. Employees should not be left struggling without proper backup, training, or support when issues arise. Honestly, I feel I could have made the drive to Carrollton for another boba shop and had a much better boba experience.
Feng Cha is an amazing boba shop, full of a variety of flavors and options to choose from. The interior is inviting, aesthetic, and the perfect place to hang out in! The drinks are also delicious and worth the price. Highly recommend!
My coworkers and I come here often. Alex treats us with so much patience and fun new recommendations for drinks! We also love to play the claw machine that they have. Every trip is always worth it!
When I first started going to this Feng Cha 2 years ago it was great, always well made, however about a year ago it dropped off due to the amount of highschool kids working here, it seems they are more worried about hanging out than making drinks. Started making the drinks less and less fresh tasting, and way more mistakes than I’ve experienced than any other boba tea shop. Stopped going for about 6 months and went to the Carrolton location instead, absolutely amazing. Went to this location again after a long time this past week and ordered the Lemon black tea, the workers mixed up the espresso and black tea and thus I was given an espresso drink filled to the brim with massive lemons chopped in half floating in it. They replaced the drink for a citrus lord and were super friendly about it, however this citrus lord was rushed and they had probably a tablespoon of boba pearls in it total? I hate leaving bad reviews but I hope the owner will at least retrain some of these employees, sadly I won’t be coming back and I’ll just go to the Carrolton location instead.
