The menu conversation here centers on tea-based drinks and boba. Customers have specifically mentioned the Thai Tea, with one longtime fan calling it exceptional after enjoying the brand since college in the Philippines. Matcha Love has also been ordered as a dessert-like choice, while lychee oolong tea and Mango Au Lait are among the other drinks discussed in customer feedback. These references can help first-time visitors choose a starting point, especially if they enjoy Thai tea, matcha-forward flavors, milk teas, fruit-and-tea combinations, or chewy boba add-ins.
The atmosphere is best suited to an easygoing drink break rather than a rushed errand. Whether meeting a friend, taking a pause between nearby plans, or picking up something sweet to go, Feng Cha Tech Ridge offers a convenient place to explore bubble tea in Austin. The daily late-evening hours can be especially useful for students, families, local workers, and anyone looking for a non-coffee beverage option after the typical afternoon rush. Staff service has received positive mention in reviews, including praise for an awesome team.
As with any busy beverage shop, individual experiences can differ. While many customers value the location and return for favorite drinks, some reviews note concerns about particular drink flavors or consistency, and one customer described difficulty using the rewards app after ordering at the register. Those who have a preferred sweetness level, tea style, or topping may find it helpful to communicate their order clearly and check the drink before leaving. For people searching for bubble tea in Austin, Texas, Feng Cha Tech Ridge remains a recognizable local stop with broad daily availability and customer-mentioned choices such as Thai Tea and Matcha Love.

Sign in to reviewThe staff is awesome, no complaints. The drinks are as OK as the usual Fangcha standard. The main issue is with the app. I ordered at the register and remembered later to ask the person to scan my rewards. They told me to use the app and scan the QR code instead. We tried for 10 minutes (including the staff) and couldn't get the rewards to load. I don't understand why they would change a decent system they used to have and screw it up. I expect companies to improve over time, but their approach to sales, the app, and rewards has gone backward. It's stupid of them to even run a rewards program at all.
This is my go to place since i was in College in the Philippines. And when i saw this here in Austin i gotta go back. I never tried anything except the exceptional Thai Tea 🫖 it sooooo good. I ordered the matcha love for dessert because i have never tried anything here except Thai Tea. It’s a Saturday Night, so i ordered it for take out. I was in the car with my husband when i decided to try it. I’m shoooook! It was soooo good that my husband got thrilled with my reaction so he also tasted it and he almost didn’t give it back. Sooo we gotta go back and order 2 more luckily there still open. You must tryyyyyyyyyyyyy 🍵🍰⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👌🏻
Came here a few times, every time the drink is bad to the point I can't stomach more than a few sips. All the drinks taste like plastic, especially the lychee oolong tea. Extremely strong plastic taste. Makes me wonder what they're putting in the drinks to make it taste that bad. The boba is not a great consistency and the milk teas taste so artificial.
i dont normally leave reviews, but i felt like i had to leave one for this matter (to hopefully improve the quality of their drinks). i am a regular customer at this feng cha location, however the drink i ordered today had some sort of plastic bits mixed in it. when i first felt the plastic bit, i thought nothing of it and just proceeded to drink. however i kept feeling more plastic bits (i initially did not know it was plastic), so i inspected what it might be. again, i am not sure what is in the drink, but my best guess would be remnants of plastic cutlery as it was completely solid and definitely something that shouldnt be ingested. this has never happened to me before, and i hope this will be the last. i hope that the owners will see this review and use it to ensure proper quality of the drinks in the future as i am sure no customer would like to find plastic bits in their drink. like i said, their drinks are always delicious, but i was definitely disappointed to find something like this in my drink.
Actually I will provide a 5-star rating for everything but I realize the Mango Aut Lait does not taste as good as other well-known Feng Cha locations.
