Sign in to reviewTh duck here is the best duck I have ever had and I’ve tried duck in 4 other restaurants. Maybe it’s because of the tea flavor that’s what was different from other places I’ve been to- I really enjoyed eating it with the pancakes and cilantro and the skin was so crispy I loved it.
Tried this place because I saw Sam’s video. Ordered the Jalepeno shredded pork and my friend got the tea smoked duck w/pancake. Also ordered 1 egg roll. The jalepeno pork was delicious! Great flavor and the pork didn’t have that weird pork taste some Asian places have. The crispy smoked duck pancake was awesome and worth the steeper price. I wasn’t a fan of the sauce alone, but in the pancake was excellent. The eggroll was a decent eggroll and the duck sauce that came with it was the best sauce I’ve had with an eggroll. The lady working was sweet and was working her butt off with the 5 tables she had. Felt great to support a local business. The restaurant itself is out dated but the tables and utensils were clean. The atmosphere added to the experience and the background music was just perfection.
Great food! The combo fried rice is sooo good and fresh and the lo mein is not greasy and you can taste all the flavor it is great! The inside is out dated but very clean and the waitress has very good manners. The don’t except American Express or discover only visa or Mastercard that’s the only reason I give a 4 star because I’m missing out on earning reward points but OVERALL it is great food go try it :)
I truly enjoy this mom and pop Taiwanese/ Chinese restaurant! They offer lots traditional American Chinese food, but if you are a foodie or would love to try some authentic plates, this is definitely the spot for you. Tea duck which is so delicious and different than anything out there, sesame cake ( order ahead), shrimp and egg, hakka sour mustard green with pork and Chinese medicinal herbal chicken soup to name a few. The taste and the quality of food are always consistent which I appreciate so much!
I loved their food! This is probably one of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to in Dallas in the last two years. A husband and wife run the business, and the atmosphere is simple and calm—no chaos or rush. The food is great. What more could we need?
