For locals and visitors looking for nail care in a central part of the city, this salon stands out as an easy-to-find option with broad weekly availability. Fizz Nail Lounge is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and on Sunday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, which makes it convenient for weekday appointments, after-work visits, and weekend self-care. With a 4.5-star rating from 371 reviews, it is a place many customers return to for regular manicures, pedicures, fills, and nail enhancements.

Clients often describe Fizz Nail Lounge as a salon where detail matters. Reviews repeatedly mention technicians who listen carefully, work with precision, and recreate requested looks from inspiration photos or even a simple color idea. Names like Quinn, Selena, and Lucy come up in customer feedback, especially for their ability to deliver polished results and pay close attention to shape, finish, and overall presentation. For people in Houston who want nail technicians that can translate a general idea into a finished set, that kind of consistency is an important draw. The experience comes across as careful, attentive, and personalized, especially for guests who value clear communication during their appointment.

In terms of services, customer reviews point to popular requests such as Gel X, acrylic application, overlay fills, manicures, and pedicures. That makes Fizz Nail Lounge a useful choice for clients looking for both routine upkeep and more styled nail appointments in Houston, Texas. Several reviewers mention strong work on both hands and feet, while others specifically praise the salon’s acrylic application and the ability to match a desired design from a reference photo. For nearby residents, professionals in the Westheimer Road corridor, and shoppers spending time around the Galleria, the salon offers the kind of nail care that fits both regular maintenance and occasion-based beauty visits. It can be a practical stop for solo appointments, friend outings, or anyone trying to fit beauty services into a busy day.

The atmosphere described by customers feels busy but accommodating. One reviewer noted coming in later in the day and still being welcomed for a manicure, appreciating the extra effort to make time rather than turning them away. That kind of flexibility can matter a lot in a city like Houston, where traffic, work schedules, and last-minute plans often shape how people book personal care appointments. At the same time, some reviews note that service expectations, shaping preferences, or pricing add-ons should be discussed clearly during the visit. For new clients, that means it may help to confirm details such as product type, nail shape, and any possible extra charges before the service begins. This kind of transparency helps ensure the final result matches the look and experience the client wants.

For anyone searching for a nail salon in Houston, TX, Fizz Nail Lounge offers a combination of accessible location, full-week hours, and a strong base of repeat customers. Its reputation is built less on flashy claims and more on the practical things people care about: technicians who can execute a look well, appointments that fit into real schedules, and manicures or pedicures that leave clients feeling put together. Whether you need a simple refresh, an acrylic fill, a pedicure, or a more design-focused set, Fizz Nail Lounge is one of the salons many people consider in Houston for dependable nail care near Westheimer Rd and the Galleria.

Quinn is absolutely exceptional. Her precision and attention to detail are unmatched — every set is flawless. I can walk in with a vague idea or reference color, and she always nails it perfectly. Her ability to understand exactly what you want and execute it with such consistency is rare. Beyond her technical skill, Quinn is incredibly kind and welcoming. She treats her clients like family, and you can feel how much she genuinely cares about her work and the people she takes care of. I trust her completely and wouldn’t go to anyone else. Highly, highly recommend.

I got my nails done here. Requested Gel X. I will say— they did last but they didn’t use the original Apres system. And she hand cut the shape to almond which ended up being much more oval and not what I expected. Place is kind of interesting. But I prefer real Gel X for what I paid. Also wanted to charge $10 to do cuticle work which I expect is part of a manicure so didn’t know why that would cost.

Everyone here does a great job on both hands and feet. This time, I went to Selena for an overlay fill. She needed no direction during the process; I showed her a photo, and she gave me exactly what I wanted. The acrylic application was perfect. However, I was up-charged for a nail reshape, even though my nails remained square, just as they were when I came in. There was no need for the up-charge, especially since I tipped generously. I would recommend her and return though. (The photo with the bag was the inspiration)

So happy I chose this spot! You have a new loyal customer. I came on the later side to see if there was room for a mani, even offered to come back next day as it was getting late. They said no chance and that they’d get me in that evening! Paid extra attention to detail. Thank you Lucy, and the Fizz team. I’ll be back!

TOO LONG? SKIP TO THE BOTTOM. Let me start off by saying I hate leaving bad reviews, and I enjoyed the pedicure and manicure I received from this place up until the woman doing my pedicure started trying to remove the ingrown toenail on my left big toe. I have had places do this before with no issue, but she did it a different way that made me wary. I kick myself for not saying anything now but you can't change what's passed. I received my mani pedi Thursday evening (the 25th) around 6pm, and woke the next morning to pain in the toe which got worse over the day along with slight swelling and redness. Saturday morning I awoke to a largely swollen, red and shiny big toe on the outer corner where the ingrown had been "removed". My toe has remained largely swollen on the outer edge, bright red, and shiny and hot since then. I finally made a doctor appointment to receive anti biotics Wednesday afternoon as the pain was too much to deal with. I soaked my toe in Epsom salts and hot water that night, and low and behold with one press puss came pouring out from underneath my big toenail. I dont know what could have caused such an infection other than pure negligence, poor hygiene, and bad practice. I did call the establishment to speak to an owner or manager this morning before posting this review to alert them ahead of time as to the infection and the potential damage they might cause to other clients, but no one has called me back, which is why I'm posting this now. LONG STORY SHORT: Avoid this salon, or at the very least ensure you don't get the woman with the barbed wire heart tattoo on her left upper arm to do your service.
