First timer: Food was good. I tried the beef rendang (tender but on the dry side), supernova curry shrimp (very flavorful), spicy chicken Karachi (not that spicy- does not live up to it's name) and the gochuchang stew (decent). Guest 2 Spend $70

After leaving the aquarium, I found this incredibly cheap little place with high ratings on both Google Maps and Yelp, so I decided to check it out. Boomin’ Beef Rendang: This was my first time trying rendang, so I can't comment on its authenticity, but I'm certain it was delicious. It's very similar to a typical Chinese home-style beef brisket stew, just with a subtle touch of coconut milk and curry. The beef was perfectly marbled with fat and lean, stewed until incredibly tender and flavorful; the thick sauce clung to the meat and permeated the rice, making every bite a rich and aromatic experience. The potatoes were soft and tender, and the green beans had a slightly crunchy texture, both perfectly balanced. It's worth mentioning that the meat portion was huge; nearly half-bowl in the picture was completely filled with beef. While it's not anything fancy, it was really satisfying to eat it quickly without worry. With a coupon from a delivery platform, it only cost $10+, making it excellent value. If you don't mind the ambiance, you can pick it up yourself and eat on the bench outside the restaurant

Great healthy bowl option in the area. I had a chicken thigh dish that was really good and loaded with flavor. Would come here again and probably branch out into one of the beef dishes. Solid choice in the area, and lives up to its high rating.

I wanted a quick take out meal on a Thursday night while I was staying at a hotel close by. I ordered the Japanese beef curry about 45 minutes before closing. It was a cold early March night so they weren’t very busy. The food was ready in about 5 minutes. In short, it was excellent. The regular size portion was very generous, with lots of fork tender beef chunks. The curry was lightly spiced and as good as any Japanese version I’ve had outside of Japan. The price was very reasonable given the quality and amount of the food. Definitely worth it; and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

Really excellent variety of speedy, delicious entrees at this otherwise unassuming corner fast food store. Between the six of us, we ordered most things on the menu and everything was so so good. I loved the beef stew, my daughter loved the tofu, and my mom loved the spicy shrimp. Plus, the speed of food prep was amazing - I think with so few dishes, everything is ready to go right away. The food is exotic but not overwhelming, so even those who are not used to ethnic dishes will likely be very happy with the result. There's plenty of seating for in-store dining. It's Boston, so parking is always hit or miss. There are restrooms available (in an adjoining building).
